We are loving this Wimbledon themed summer hack with strawberries. πŸ“

By poking a straw through the centre of the strawberry, the stem will pop off without any juicy waste! πŸ‘πŸ»

The tutors who work with us have many exciting techniques and methods when it comes to engaging their students.

This one was brought to our attention recently by Henry who teaches History of Art. Essentially, he finds working for 25 minutes then taking a 5 minute break makes him concentrate better and work more efficiently.

Perhaps one to try during this busy revision/exam period πŸ‘πŸ»

A super blood moon is on the horizon - one of the most spectacular sights in the skies, and will be visible in the early hours of Monday 15th May from the UK. πŸŒ‘πŸŒ—

The picture demonstrates the moon during the phases of a total lunar eclipse, when Earth comes between the Moon and the Sun.

Falling fully into Earth's shadow, the Moon will slowly darken before turning dusky red.

Happy World Earth Day πŸŒŽπŸ’š

The first Earth Day was celebrated in 1970 and is a wonderful opportunity to share information and look at what we can do to protect our planet. If we can make small changes to live more sustainably, we will start to tackle the problem at large.

Visualising a calm place is a great way to help kids manage their stress. Ask your child to think of an actual
place they have been to where they feel peaceful. For example, the beach, cosy in their bed, grandpa's garden, a
tree house. When stress kicks in, tell them to close their eyes and imagine that spot while breathing slowly. βœ¨πŸ’«

We could probably all use this technique once or twice over the Easter weekend!
