SECRETS OF SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEURS
Practical entrepreneurship empowers individuals and national economies in many positive ways. According to UK statistics which is similar to global average, around 60-65% of start ups fail in their first 3 years. One of the major obstacles on the way of start ups is the ability to handle rejection when prospective clients are yet to see the value in their business propositions. A good number of start ups give up before they have time to prove themselves.

My latest guest on The Business Leaders Podcast, Mr Salmon shares how he overcame some of those early challenges to build several multi million pounds companies with no money. He shared how he relied only on his determination, drive, passion and his business idea to build his business empire. This podcast is full of business wisdom. Mr Salmon spoke on rejection, relationships in business, mindset, resilience, business growth, problem solving and a host of other aspects of business. I will be serialising these pearls of business wisdom in the next few postings. Highlights in pictures from the Leaders Without Borders Award Night Yesterday in London. I was honoured with the Award for Global Excellence in Leadership & Development.

It was a night of double honours for my family as my wife was also honoured with the Global Award Excellence for Distinguished Career.

The cream of the society from different nations of the world were present. More photos to follow. It was a night worth remembering .

It is becoming increasingly common for sponsoring organisations to request for periodic reports or information from executive coaches who are working with their leaders about the coaching engagement. The challenge with this request is on the confidentiality the executive coach owes the leader on the sensitive information he/she has shared with the coach.

In this short video, I have explored some strategies an executive coach can use to effectively navigate this fine and delicate balance between maintaining the confidentiality of the leaders' information and satisfying the need of the organisation for information to maintain the trust and respect of both parties.
