New for September 2026 – wraparound care

Parsons Green Prep (PGP) is delighted to introduce our new wraparound care provision, developed in response to the growing needs of our school community. We recognise that modern family life often requires flexibility and that many parents balance busy working schedules alongside school commitments.

Our aim is to provide a safe, nurturing and enriching environment beyond the standard school day, offering both support for parents and a positive, engaging experience for all of our pupils from Reception to Year 6.

There is Morning Care from 8-8.30am (Mon-Fri), providing a gentle and positive start to the day, and a Focus Club (homework/structured tasks) followed by a Chill Club (games and socialising) in the afternoons from 3 until 6pm (Mon-Thurs).

For more information please email [email protected] or call 0207 610 8085.

We have been working hard to complete the work from Art Day ready for our school art exhibition later this month. There are some amazing examples from Years 2, 3 and 4. Year 2 printed the Greek urns, Year 3 painted the underwater canvasses and made clay corals and Year 4 made the dragon eyes. Great work everybody!

Happy 100th Birthday to Sir David Attenborough. Everyone at Parsons Green Prep hopes that you have a wonderful day. Our children, especially those in Attenborough House, are feeling very proud. They voted to name one of the four Houses after the great broadcaster and conservationist and designed the House shield.

Happy Earth Day and a big well done to our wonderful Eco Committee! Their focus last term was on preparing and informing. They spent time preparing flowerbeds, in readiness for planting seeds. The aim is to grow scented plants to help support local insects and provide a sensory experience for their classmates. In March they also informed the school about Earth Hour, an excellent opportunity for us to switch off non-essential lights to raise awareness about climate change and biodiversity loss.
