Self drafted top and wide legged trousers. I’ve been having pattern drafting lessons with Aina at I went for a free taster lesson and really enjoyed Aina’s teaching style. Since then I’ve been back several times and have learnt how to make a fitted bodice block with sleeves and a skirt block. I’ve also learnt how to replicate some of my favourite clothes. I thoroughly recommend taking Aina up on her free session where you get all of your measurements and a thirst for more!

The fabric is a lovely silk that I bought in India recently on a work trip.

TROUSER PATTER CUTTING AND FITTING COURSE:

Suitable for intermediate and advanced sewers.

This course narrows in on making a specific corduroy trouser style. See images below. You will learn how to draft a trouser pattern of that style for your measurements.

This course is suitable for you if you can cut and prepare a muslin ready to be fitted. Prepping muslin will be part of your home play.

We will have two fitting sessions. If adjustments are required, those will be made and transferred to your pattern. You will have a beautifully fitted trouser pattern ready to be sewn.

Lesson 1:
* Taking measurements for trousers
* Drafting made to measure trouser pattern

Lesson 2:

* First fitting and adjustments

Lesson 3:

* Second fitting and adjustments
