Most people I work with already know what might help.
They know they should rest.
They know they should slow down.
They know they should breathe, walk, journal, meditate or set better boundaries.
But when your nervous system doesn't feel safe, even the things that help can feel impossible.
That's why healing isn't just about learning new coping strategies.
It's about helping your body experience enough safety to actually use them.
You are not failing.
Your nervous system is protecting you.
đż Raise Your Calm
A 6 week nervous system reset for overwhelm, burnout, anxiety and survival mode.
Starts Wednesday 17th June.

After a few messages asking if Iâd ever run Raise Your Calm online⌠Iâve decided to đ¤
Truthfully, I know how hard it can be to prioritise yourself when life already feels full.
Childcare. Energy. Anxiety. Commute. Overwhelm.
Sometimes even leaving the house feels like too much.
And when your nervous system is already stretched, adding another thing to your plate can feel impossible.
So⌠Raise Your Calm is returning ONLINE đż
A gentle 6 week nervous system reset for anyone feeling:
⨠overwhelmed
⨠anxious or burnt out
⨠emotionally exhausted
⨠stuck in people pleasing or survival mode
⨠like youâve lost yourself a little
Over 6 weeks weâll explore:
đż understanding your nervous system
đż stress, overwhelm & burnout
đż practical regulation tools that actually help
đż boundaries without guilt
đż protective parts & patterns
đż glimmers, joy & everyday safety
đż ways to build calm into real life
This isnât about fixing yourself.
Youâre not broken.
Itâs about understanding yourself more deeply, feeling calmer in your body and learning practical tools you can actually use when life feels hard.

âMy kids just fight constantlyâŚâ
Honestly? Sibling relationships can be really hard.
One minute theyâre laughing together and the next theyâre arguing over who breathed too loudly đ
And when it feels relentless, it can leave you completely drained.
I want to gently reframe something thoughâŚ
Constant bickering doesnât automatically mean youâre failing or that theyâll hate each other forever.
Siblings are learning some of lifeâs biggest skills in real time:
⨠navigating difference
⨠sharing space
⨠frustration tolerance
⨠repair after conflict
⨠boundaries
⨠emotional regulation
And letâs be honest, if nervous systems are stressed, tired, overwhelmed or feeling disconnected⌠things tend to escalate quickly.
Sometimes what looks like âthey just canât stand each otherâ is actually:
⢠different developmental stages
⢠competing needs
⢠sensory overwhelm
⢠nervous system dysregulation
⢠feeling misunderstood
⢠wanting connection but not having the skills yet
Something I say to parents a lot:
Donât panic about every argument. Look for the pattern.
Is there rivalry? Jealousy? Transition times? Hunger? Fatigue? Feeling unfairly treated?
And sometimesâŚ
The biggest thing we can do is stop trying to force the perfect âtalk it throughâ moment and wait until everyone is regulated enough to actually hear each other.
Also, if no one has told you latelyâŚ
Trying to hold the emotions of multiple children at once is exhausting.
Youâre not doing a bad job â¤ď¸
Tell me honestly⌠whatâs the hardest bit about sibling dynamics in your house right now?

This is exactly why Raise Your Village exists.
Because parents donât just need strategiesâŚ
they need:
â spaces to regulate
â spaces to be held
â spaces to not feel alone
If the idea of a âvillageâ feels far away right nowâŚ

You donât struggle with boundaries because youâre weak
You struggle because
your body learned it wasnât always safe to have needs
So you say yes
when you mean no
You over explain
so people donât misunderstand you
You push through
and then feel resentful later
Not because you donât careâŚ
but because somewhere along the way
you stopped including yourself
Iâve made something for this
A free Boundaries Reflection + What To Say Guide
So in those moments where your mind goes blank
or your body says âjust keep the peaceâ
You actually have words
you can come back to
Simple
real
and usable
If you want it

If youâve been struggling with your childâŚ
Feeling like nothing quite worksâŚ
Doubting yourself more than youâd like to admitâŚ
I want you to know this gentlyâŚ
It might not be what you think it is â¤ď¸
So much of what weâre seeing in our children isnât âbad behaviourâ
Itâs overwhelm
Itâs nervous systems reaching capacity
Itâs needs that donât yet have words
And when we understand that⌠everything begins to shift
⨠Raise Your Tribe â¨
is an 8 week, small group course where we slow things down and make sense of it all
No judgement
No rigid rules
Just real understanding, practical tools, and support
Weâll look at: â Whatâs really happening in your childâs brain and body
â How your nervous system impacts theirs
â Connection, boundaries, and everyday moments that actually work
â Breaking patterns without blame
This is a pilot group, so itâs small, supportive, and really intentional
I now only have a couple of spaces left
If youâve been feeling like something needs to change, this could be your moment to start differently

I left the education system because, deep down, I knew something wasnât right.
Now itâs being said more openly.
Schools have become exam obsessed. Teachers are saying thereâs too much focus on tests and not enough on real life skills.
But for me⌠it goes deeper.
This isnât just about children leaving unprepared.
Iâd argue weâre dysregulating them in the process.
Weâre asking developing nervous systems to sit still for hours, suppress movement, override sensory needs, push down emotion, and perform under constant pressure.
Then weâre surprised when: â anxiety rises
â behaviour escalates
â children shut down
â or canât cope
Weâre also seeing a rise in EBSA.
Children arenât just ârefusingâ school.
Theyâre voting with their feet.
Their nervous systems are saying: this doesnât feel safe
this is too much
I canât do this
So many children arenât ânaughtyâ.
Theyâre: â overwhelmed
â dysregulated
â sensory seeking
But instead of being understood, theyâre labelled.
Weâve built a system thatâs very good at sorting childrenâŚ
but not very good at seeing them.
Because children who donât feel safe, seen and supported
canât access learning.
When we talk about rising mental health needs, this isnât happening in isolation.
Itâs happening within systems that prioritise outcomes over wellbeing.
I didnât leave because I didnât care.
I left because I care too much.
These children arenât the problem.
Theyâre showing us the problem.

Hereâs the part we donât talk about enoughâŚ
Regulation keeps you from spiralling.
But it doesnât lift you back up.
You can feel âokayââŚ
steadyâŚ
not overwhelmedâŚ
âŚand still not feel like yourself.
Thatâs because your nervous system needs two things:
đż Regulation â to feel safe
⨠Joy â to feel alive
Breathing, grounding, slowing downâŚ
They hold you.
But joy is what raises you.
The laughter.
The music in the kitchen.
The sun on your face.
The things that make you feel like you again.
So if youâre in that space of âIâm okay⌠but a bit flatâ
This is your reminder:
Donât just regulate.
Gently invite joy back in.
Thatâs how we move up the spiral đŤ
