جن کی اُمید صرف الله سے ہو
وہ کبھی نا اُمید نہیں ہوتے

Whose hope is only from Allah
They will not be hopeless..

How to get close to Allah.

1) Zikir

Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest
(Surah Ar-Ra’d)
Zikir is doing remembrance of Allah s.w.t and in some forms, expressing the natural state of the heart through recitations and supplications.
Start small and try the simple Zikir of SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), La ilaha illallah (there is no true god except Allah) and Allahu Akbar (Allah is Great) in every action. This Zikir is also known as the ‘everlasting good deeds’.
“The uttering of "Subhanallah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), La ilaha illallah (there is no god except Allah) and Allahu Akbar (Allah is Great)' is dearer to me than anything over which the sun rises.”
(Muslim)
You may choose a specific favourite Zikir of yours to recite while doing your chores or you can use various Zikir, found in the Quran and Hadith of the Prophet s.a.w. at different times of the day.

2) Pray

The success that we seek calls us five times a day. The Prophet s.a.w. said:
“The first thing which will be judged among a man’s deeds on the Day of Resurrection is the Prayer. If this is in good order then he will succeed and prosper but if it is defective then he will fail and will be a loser.”
(Narrated by Imam Tirmizi)
Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. used to pray so much at night that his feet became swollen.
It was said to him, ”Why do you regulate yourself with this when Allah has forgiven your past and future sins?" To that, he s.a.w. replied, "Shall I not be a grateful servant of Allah?" (Narrated by Imam Al-Bukhari)

3) Istighfar

It was narrated from Anas that Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. said:
“Every son of Adam commits sin, and the best of those who commit sin are those who repent.”
(Narrated by Imam Tirmizi)

InshaAllah tomorrow we will add more ways to get closer to Allah.

Dua is the strongest weapon. But it works only for those who try sincerely and seriously to use it. As a Muslim, we should never give up, because we have the ultimate weapon to counter our fears, depression, oppression, and adversity in the shape of Dua.

Freedom from Jahannam and Acceptance of Dua

Abu Saeed al-Khudree relates that Rasulullah ﷺ said: “During each day and night of Ramadhaan, Allah sets free many people from Jahannam, and during each day and night, at least one dua for every Muslim is certainly accepted.”

Note: Besides this Hadeeth, there are many others saying that the dua of a fasting person is accepted (mustajaab). In one Hadeeth, we read that the dua is accepted at the time of breaking the fast, but we are generally so busy eating, that we lose this chance.

Three Persons, whose Dua is surely accepted

Abu Hurairah رَضِيَ ٱللّٰهُ عَنْهُ reports that Rasulullah ﷺ said: “There are three persons whose dua is not rejected, The fasting person until he breaks the fast, the just ruler and the oppressed person, whose dua Allah lifts above the clouds and opens to it the doors of Jannah and Allah says, “I swear by my honour, verily, I shall assist you, even though it may be after sometime.”

Note: It is reported from Aa’isha (R.A.) that, when Ramadhaan came, the colour of Rasulullah’s ﷺface used to change. He then used to increase his Salaah, become even more humble in his dua and show even more fear of Allah .
Three Persons, whose Dua is surely accepted

Yes, dua is indeed very important and to leave it out at any time is a great loss. Hope should not be lost, even when it seems that our dua is not accepted. Should Allah find that giving us what we ask from Him is for our own good, He gives it, otherwise not. Actually, it is Allah’s favour on us that we do not always get what we ask for because, very often, due to our lack of understanding, we beg for things that are not good for us at a particular time.

Dua is the strongest weapon. But it works only for those who try sincerely and seriously to use it. As a Muslim, we should never give up, because we have the ultimate weapon to counter our fears, depression, oppression, and adversity in the shape of Dua.

May Allah guide us to the straight path أمين

What Islam has to say…
Islam is not just a religion but a complete way of life, which has solutions to every single problem we face.  There are several duas in the Quran and Sunnah which deal with removing feelings of depression, sadness, worry and anxiety.

Life is full of twists and turns and there are welcome and unwelcome surprises at every twist and turn of life. May Allah , save us from trials and tribulations, but one should not despair when one confronts difficulties and challenges in life. Indeed! More often than not, even trials and tribulations are a source of knowledge, strength, and rewards from Allah if we continue to seek His mercy and guidance. Islam provides us with guidance for each and every aspect of life, and it definitely provides the seeker with the armor of Islamic duas for every occasion.
The Islamic way to remove anxiety and depression is to seek the countenance of the Lord of the worlds, because Allah has stated in the Quran that all ease and all difficulty are from Him, and only He can remove difficulties and give ease. Indeed! Only He has power over all affairs and each and every thing in the universe.
What could be a better balm for a suffering heart and healers of anxiety and sorrow for a Muslim than the following seven Islamic Duas, some of which have been recommended by the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, himself:
اللّهُـمَّ إِنِّي أَعْوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الهَـمِّ وَ الْحُـزْنِ، والعًجْـزِ والكَسَلِ والبُخْـلِ والجُـبْنِ.
