✨ We’ve been busy giving our sensory area a little refresh! ✨

Our team has been working hard to update and enhance this space so it continues to be a calm, engaging, and supportive environment for the children. The area now includes a variety of sensory resources designed to encourage exploration, self-regulation, and relaxation.

Children can enjoy soft lighting, sensory cubes, tactile toys, musical instruments, and calming bubble tubes, as well as cosy seating where they can take a moment to relax. We’ve also added interactive resources that help children explore textures, sounds, colours, and movement in a safe and stimulating way.

The sensory area provides a wonderful space for children who may need a quiet moment, a chance to regulate their emotions, or simply an opportunity to explore their senses through play. It’s already proving to be a popular spot!

We’re looking forward to seeing the children enjoy the new additions and use the space in their own creative ways. 🌈

*Nursery's amazing, I have very clingy twins that have been there for a short time. All of the staff make sure they feel at ease once I've left, which makes me feel less guilty. They always end the day with big smiles on their faces and tell me what a great day they've had!

*This place is such a hidden gem and we are so lucky to of found this nursery. Since starting in September everyday learning is different, the meals are always fresh ( and on time even when short staff ) and the children are constantly smiling when I drop off or collect my son. Every member of staff is happy, polite and engaging with the parents as well as the children. The lead up to the festive period was full of fun activities, parties and of course playing - the extra effort that staff went to is greatly appreciated, they always go above and beyond and I love the bond my son has with everyone here - thank you to everyone at coop Islington x
