Little Ivy’s will no longer be running on a weekly basis but we will run a special event termly, including a summer picnic and a Forest School session, which we will advertise here. We hope to see you there.

Thank you for coming to the Little Ivy’s Christmas Party. We hope you enjoyed the wonderful entertainment, games, songs, arts and crafts and refreshments and of course the special visit from Father Christmas!

Pre-booking for Tuesday 30th October is out - come and join us for pumpkins and penguins. To book please message Little Ivy’s Stay and Play privately on this page ASAP. Include your full name and the name of your child/two children. ONLY if you have successfully secured a space you will receive a message of confirmation. Please bring correct payment on the day. Carer and 1 child -£3.00. Carer and 2 children - £5.50.
Fair Play – The first 20 carers to message will be given places. Carers may only attend one session a week and no more than two children. Carers may only book for themselves and their toddlers. If you need to cancel, please let us know so we can allocate your space to another.
Please do not turn up unless you have received a confirmation of your booking. Many thanks. We look forward to seeing you. Please let us know if you have to cancel as we can make another carer and toddler’s day great!

Hello to the Little Ivy's Stay and Play Community. Looking forward to the second half of this term. Booking for next week will go up as usual at 2pm for Monday 30th October and 4pm for Tuesday 31st October. Our theme for the half term is 'Winter'.

Croydon High on the big screen!

If you are heading for the local cinemas to watch a family movie, then watch out for Croydon High on your screens (Odeon Beckenham, Vue Purley Way, Croydon Grants and Everyman Oxted). Croydon High girls are not acting, this is real! In the cricket clip – I was there with my daughter when the Susan-Ann Dowle cricket pitch was officially opened. ‘Toot toot,’ go the cars. ‘Hooray,’ cheer the tots! Thank you to Ellis and Nonna for your kind donation of cars, now these are no ordinary cars, these are cars that come with a car transporter! The tots flocked over when they pulled up on the Little Ivy’s vehicle mat. Also, great team work Nonna and Ellis, you always head straight for the craft tables even after a long journey to Little Ivy’s, Nonna your enthusiasm and the sharing of your own crafty ideas helps make Little Ivy’s a great community.

The Joy of Learning
At Little Ivy’s Stay and Play it was our last week celebrating our theme; ‘Trains, planes and automobiles’. On the craft table, scooters took centre stage with the intention to extend and engage both carer and tot in this shared activity, for tot to colour the footplate and carer to get to work on the mechanics and produce a scooter with wheels that could actually rotate- Oh the joy! If tots and carers preferred a relaxed and easier ride, then they could journey over to the ‘Bus stop craft table’, where, with a scrunch of tissue and a swish of glue they could hop on the number 64 craft bus. Now, everyone knows where the 64 bus goes - Little Ivy’s of course! Thank you carers and tots for another lovely term - what a joyful Little Ivy’s Community we have. May you all have a happy and peaceful half term!

Next week Little Ivy's Stay and Play is on half term for two weeks. We are back on Monday 30th October and Tuesday 31st October. Pre-booking comes out on Tuesday 23rd October at 2pm for the following Monday and 4pm for the following Tuesday. Have a lovely break and we look forward to hearing about all your adventures when we return.
