Yes, Chrome Music Lab Kandinsky becomes your instrument! 🎨🎶✨

At Weston Village Primary, Year 2 students worked with Mr E to compose their own songs using instruments created from their drawings.

By turning shapes, colours, and lines into sound, pupils explored the connection between art, music, and technology in a fun and creative way. The results were as unique as the artists themselves! 🎵🖍️

A fantastic example of STEAM learning in action.

Thank you to The Love Music Trust for making this happen! 💙

Here’s the performance video! 🎥✨

Mr E and Year 6 at Holyhead Primary are performing their original song using Micro:bit with an accelerometer 🎶

Yes—they coded the sounds for their instruments themselves, using an 8-step sequencer! 🤯

This is STEAM Magic in action: creativity, coding, and music all in one experience 🚀

Big thanks to SIPS Education for making this happen.

We always look & listen first 👀🎶
Before coding our Micro:bit into a light sensor theremin, we tuned in to Dr Theremin’s performance—and it definitely sparked something special in Year 4 at Wednesbury Oak Primary!!

Sandwell, here we come! 🎶

Year 2 at Old Park Primary School had an unforgettable session with TouchMe—creating music in the most imaginative way… yes, even using “crocodile body parts”! 🐊✨

From giggles to full-on creativity, pupils explored how music, technology, and a bit of curiosity can turn anything into an instrument. This is STEAM learning at its most playful and engaging.

Big thanks to SIPS Education - Music & Arts for making it happen and Playtronica for the brilliant tools powering the session 💛
