🌟📚✂️ Learning, laughter and lots of fun at Bear Hugs – Sandy Hill Branch! ✂️📚🌟

Our little learners have been busy exploring numbers, mark-making, counting, cutting skills and creative expression! 🔢✏️🎨 From recognising and matching numbers 🎲🔢 to developing early writing skills 📝🌈 and practising safe scissor control through colourful crafts ✂️🌳, every activity is helping to build confidence and independence.

We loved seeing the children concentrate as they circled letters and numbers 🔍✨, took turns during number games 🎲🤝, and carefully cut and arranged colourful strips to create their own unique masterpieces 🌈🎨. These activities support early maths, literacy, fine motor development and problem-solving skills while making learning exciting and engaging! 🧠💡⭐

✨🌈 Sensory Play Fun at Bear Hugs Day Nursery – Timbercroft Branch! 🌈✨

Our children had an amazing time exploring this exciting sparkly tuff tray activity today! 🤩💖 Using glitter ✨, water 💦, pipettes 🧪, cups 🥤, funnels 🔻, colourful letters 🔤, and lots of other exciting resources, the children were busy investigating, pouring, scooping, squeezing, and creating! 🎨🌟

This hands-on activity encouraged the children to develop their fine motor skills 🤏💪, hand-eye coordination 👀🙌, and early literacy skills as they discovered and explored the colourful letters hidden within the tray 🔤💙💚💛❤️. There was plenty of curiosity 🤔, problem-solving 🧠, and imaginative play as the children experimented with different ways of moving the water and glitter around the tray 💦✨🌈.

The children loved watching the glitter sparkle ✨, mixing colours 🎨, filling and emptying containers 🥤, and making exciting discoveries through play! 😍💖 There were so many smiles 😄, giggles 🤭, and moments of wonder throughout the activity 🌟💫.

Learning through play is always so much fun at Bear Hugs! 🐻❤️

Yesterday, our little chefs had the BEST time making their very own fruity popsicles! 🍉🍊🫐

From choosing delicious fruits to mixing colourful flavours and creating yummy frozen treats, there were smiles, giggles, and sticky little fingers everywhere 😄🧡

The children loved getting hands-on and exploring healthy, tasty ingredients while having so much fun together 🍓👩‍🍳🍌

Activities like this help encourage creativity, independence, and healthy eating habits — all while making special memories with friends 💛✨

The children showed fantastic focus and determination as they carefully traced and formed different letters and numbers 🖍️😊👏

Activities like these help to build confidence, strengthen fine motor skills, and support early literacy and maths development 🌟🧠💡

We loved seeing the children so proud of their work as they explored mark making, pencil control, and recognising familiar letters and numbers 🎨✍️💛

At Bear Hugs Day Nursery – Timbercroft Branch we’ve been hopping into some fun with our adorable frog paper plate crafts! 🐸💚✨

Our little learners had a fantastic time creating their very own frogs, adding big googly eyes 👀 and a loooonnggg tongue 👅🎨 The children loved getting creative with colours, sticking, and painting, bringing their frogs to life in their own unique way 🌈🖌️💫

This fun activity helped develop fine motor skills, creativity, and lots of imagination – with plenty of giggles along the way! 😄🎉💚 We think their froggy friends turned out absolutely ribbit-ing! 🐸👏💛

🐻💛 Bear Hugs Day Nursery – Timbercroft Branch had an AMAZING Earth Day 2026! 🌍🌱

Our little explorers had so much fun celebrating and learning all about caring for our planet 💚✨ A big highlight of the day was getting creative with our fun connectable construction toys 🧩🚧—they’re just like paper clips, so the children could link them together in endless ways to build, design, and invent! 🧠🌈

From colourful creations to imaginative structures, the children showed brilliant teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity as they built their own mini worlds 🌍🏗️💫

It was a joyful, hands-on day full of laughter, learning, and eco-friendly inspiration 🌿😊💛 We are so proud of our amazing Earth champions for showing such care for our planet!
