Why not look at our forthcoming Write, Illustrate & Publish, which is a two day course on Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd April from 10am to 3pm?

Kids can learn key creative writing skills, with a focus on unreliable narrators, dynamic openings and new vocabulary. In combination with this, they will also illustrate their stories with Hayley's help, working with collage, print and watercolour ink drawings before learning to bind their book at the end.

Students will be taught a wealth of creative tricks and techniques and, best of all, learn how to combine these lessons into an object of real beauty that the family can treasure forever.

This week our choice is for younger readers around Years 2 and 3, and it's called Goldfish on Vacation by Sally Lloyd-Jones! 🐟

"H, Little O, and Baby Em are stuck in the city for the summer with only their pet goldfish--Barracuda, Patch, and Fiss--for company. It's looking like it might be a pretty boring vacation, but one day, something exciting happens.
