In Science, we explored what keeps a seed healthy, sorting the stages of germination and learning what happens at each stage of a plant's growth. In PPP, we practised our number bonds to 10 by sorting blocks and finding different ways to make 10. A fantastic week of learning and discovery! ✨

Basketball, coaching and unforgettable experiences 🏀

On Friday, our Year 6 girls attended a fantastic NBA event at UEL SportsDock. They took part in a coaching session with an NBA coach, watched and played in games, and even enjoyed a thrilling dunk contest. To top it all off, each pupil received a free NBA t-shirt to take home.

A brilliant day that inspired a love of sport and teamwork! 👏

Roaring into creativity 🦖✨

We made paper plate dinosaurs this week, developing our creative skills by using a variety of materials and strengthening our fine motor skills as we carefully cut out and assembled the different body parts.

Cricket, teamwork and medals all round 🏏🏅

At the end of last term, our Year 6 boys took part in a cricket competition at West Ham Park alongside five other schools. They showed great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the day, and everyone came away with a medal.

The 2026 Men’s Football World Cup has arrived and our catering
team is getting in on the action! ⚽🏆

Throughout the tournament they will be using the excitement of
football to encourage pupils to think about how eating well
supports an active, healthy lifestyle. Come and dine with us and
pick up a sticker along the way! ️😊

Growing, planting and getting creative 🌱🍅

In Science, Year 2 observed how our seeds have germinated and used inspiration from the school garden to draw what we think our seedlings will look like as fully grown plants.

Year 3 also enjoyed a gardening session where they planted tomatoes and created colourful signs and stickers for their stall on Wednesday.

We enjoyed some downtime after a very busy month of revision in preparation for SATs.
