KPS offers an intellectually exciting environment in which pupils can learn and grow, but also have fun. While our staff are rigorous in their approach to teaching and learning, they are thoroughly modern in their outlook and practice. We have put together a 21st century curriculum to meet the needs of our students as they grow and develop, and as they prepare themselves for the fast-paced and ever-changing world around us.

Encouraging meaningful connections at KPS 📱

This term we introduced Yondr pouches to create a phone-free environment during the school day, encouraging KPS pupils to engage more fully with their learning, friendships and the wider school community.

The importance of healthy technology use was recently highlighted by Xander, who featured in The Guardian newspaper’s discussion on the government’s proposed under-16 social media ban. While recognising the educational benefits of social media, Xander also spoke thoughtfully about the role of parents in helping young people develop positive digital habits.

At KPS, we are committed to helping pupils build strong relationships, think critically and develop a balanced approach to technology.

Our Year 7 and 8 rounders team enjoyed a fantastic afternoon in the sunshine as they took on North Bridge House Canonbury in Regent's Park.

An exciting opportunity for Kemal 🎾

We are delighted to share that Kemal has been invited to attend a trial at IMG Academy in the United States following a period of outstanding progress in his tennis development.

After impressing coaches with his dedication and improvement over the past year, Kemal was identified as a promising young talent and invited to undertake a comprehensive evaluation programme this June. The trial could open the door to future international competition opportunities.

We are incredibly proud of Kemal's hard work, commitment and ambition, and wish him every success as he embarks on this exciting next step in his sporting journey.

As part of our programme of Field Days, Year 7 and 8 students recently visited Kew Gardens, exploring one of London's most famous botanical collections.

The trip provided an opportunity to extend botanical learning beyond the classroom while discovering a wide variety of plant species and beautiful landscapes. Students enjoyed an engaging day of exploration, curiosity and fresh air in a truly unique setting.

Field Days in action 🎢

As part of our programme of Field Days, Year 7–9 students enjoyed an exciting trip to Thorpe Park.

The day was a fantastic opportunity for students to spend time together beyond the classroom, build friendships and create lasting memories while experiencing some of the park's most popular rides and attractions.

A brilliant day out and a great example of how Field Days enrich the student experience at KPS.

KPS is going phone-free with our new “Look Up, Join In, Be Present” initiative.

From the start of our new phone-free school day, pupils will place their phones in secure pouches, helping us create a school environment that is distraction free and connected.

Pupils’ attention will be focused on reading and on board and strategy games, with time for tech-free socialising.

To learn more about life at KPS and our commitment to student wellbeing, book a tour with our Admissions Team.

KPS had a very successful day out at Battersea’s Millenium Stadium for the 2026 Sports Day. It was great to see all pupils taking part in and supporting the track and field events, showing great house spirit.

Throughout the day, the scores for the House Cup were extremely tight, with there only being 10 points between 1st and 4th before the final track session of the day. However, it was ultimately the Tyburn Tigers whose combined efforts came through to win the Cup with 762 points!

Well done and thank you to all students, teachers, and parents involved throughout the day!
