🌏 Australian Live Intake – Beginning 14 March

I’m delighted to announce that Rohini Academy of Astrology will be offering a dedicated Australian live intake starting 14 March.

Over the past year, several Australian students have asked for a live option that better suits evening hours across Australian time zones. There’s now enough interest to make that possible.

All sessions are delivered at 10:00 a.m. UK time (evening in Australia), with full recordings available. The curriculum, certification, and structured progression remain exactly the same — this is simply a live option designed to make participation easier.

With my five-city Australian tour coming up in September and October, it feels like the right moment to strengthen those connections.

We are currently in the Saturn–Neptune conjunction of 2026, and I’ve just realised how closely it echoes a turning point in my own life.

The last time Saturn and Neptune came together, in 1989, I was just about to graduate from university and made the decision to come to London for the first time. I arrived with a dream — not a practical plan, but a deep sense that I needed to try. That leap became the life I’ve lived ever since.

Lately, after a lovely Christmas visit with family and friends, I did feel the pull of Michigan again. It made me wonder what my dream is now. Was it time to go back?

And then I realised: I’m already living the next one.

The Rohini Academy of Astrology — something I envisioned years ago — is now truly thriving. What began as an idea has become a working school, with committed students and meaningful work taking place. In many ways, it’s the modern expression of that same Saturn–Neptune moment: giving form and structure to something that once existed only as a vision.

This week I begin a new cohort of Working with Children’s Charts through the Rohini Academy of Astrology.
This training is very close to my heart. It brings together my decades of classroom teaching, safeguarding practice, and professional astrology to explore how we can work responsibly and ethically with young people and families.
Astrology with children is not about prediction — it is about understanding development, temperament, timing, and creating environments in which young people can thrive
The course begins Saturday 21 February (6pm GMT), and I am looking forward to working with a thoughtful group of astrologers who want to approach this area with care, structure, and real-world experience.

I don’t always stop to say this, but I feel incredibly grateful for the work I get to do.

Between consultations, teaching, and developing training for astrologers working with children and families, it really does feel like this work is growing in the right direction — grounded, responsible, and genuinely useful to real people.

Working with children’s charts is not the same as working with adult clients.
The Rohini Academy of Astrology is specialist training for astrologers who want to work safely and responsibly with children and families — with a strong focus on safeguarding, child protection issues, and supporting parents without causing harm or fear.
This course goes far beyond technique. It’s about:
• recognising safeguarding and boundary issues in astrological practice
• learning how to guide families without fixing a child’s future or pathologising their chart

When you enrol on the full three-level course, you receive:
• Specialist training in children’s and families’ astrology with safeguarding at its core
• Ongoing access to Superpower Saturdays for practice, discussion, and skill-refinement while you’re enrolled
• Course materials including copies of Zeus on the Loose, Growing Pains, and my Saturn book
• A clear practitioner pathway, with a fourth (advanced) level currently in development

This course is about preparing and refining your astrological skills for one of the most sensitive areas of practice.

Rohini Academy of Astrology is now in its fifth year of advanced professional training.
These classes are designed for experienced astrologers who want to add children’s and adolescent charts to their professional toolbox — with proper structure, developmental understanding, and clear professional boundaries.
This is not a beginner course.
It assumes astrological competence and focuses on what most trainings leave out:
• working with parents rather than minors directly
• understanding developmental timing (Jupiter returns, Saturn oppositions)
• knowing where interpretation stops and responsibility begins
• translating astrology into practical, real-world guidance

One of the great honours of my work with Rohini Academy of Astrology has been recognising astrologers who place child protection, ethics, and responsibility at the heart of their practice.
During my time working with astrologers from India, Rohini Academy issued honorary certificates in recognition of outstanding commitment to safeguarding children and young people. It was a privilege to work with such thoughtful, serious practitioners and to acknowledge the standards they uphold.
Rohini Academy has always been international in scope, shaped by collaboration, shared values, and a belief that astrology education carries real responsibility.

I was recently asked to attend the 39th International Astrology, Vastu and Tarot event here in London. Of all the astrologers in the UK, they asked me to be their Chief Guest of Honour so it was a request I couldn’t refuse.
