✨ Eid Mubarak from Jaffaria Academy! ✨

As we come together to celebrate Eid, our thoughts and prayers are with those enduring hardships around the globe. May Allah (SWT) bestow upon them ease, mercy, and justice.

In these challenging times, we turn to the words of our Imam of faith, Ali ibn e Abi Talib (A), seeking the strength and wisdom he exemplified in facing adversity.

May Allah accept all our prayers, fasts, and good deeds, showering us with His boundless blessings.

JaffariaAcademy

Wilada of Imam Zayn al-Abidin (A) Mubarak.

He taught humanity the importance of worship. After his prayers, he would prostrate in thankfulness and say:

يا ذا المنّ الذي لا ينقطع أبدا ، ولا يحصيه غيره عددا ، ويا ذا الجود الذي لا ينفد أبدا ، يا كريم ، يا كريم

“O Possessor of favour that never ceases, whose blessings none can count; O Possessor of generosity that never runs out—O Most Generous, O Most Generous.”

Let’s always be thankful to Allah, especially for the love we have for the Ahl al-Bayt (a)

Wilada of Imam Zayn al-Abidin (A) Mubarak.

He mastered loyalty from the teachings of his father. His father Amir al-Mu’minin (a) said:
أيّها النّاس إنّ الوفاء توأم الصّدق و لا أعلم جُنّةً أوقى منه
“O people, indeed loyalty is the twin of truthfulness, and I know of no shield more protective than it.”

Let’s learn to be loyal to Imam al-Asr (a) by always being truthful to oneself and to others.

Wilada of Imam Hussain (a)

In the Du’a of Imam Hussayn (a.s.) for the Day of Arafah, we read:

إِلَهِي مَاذَا وَجَدَ مَنْ فَقَدَكَ؟ وَمَا الَّذِي فَقَدَ مَنْ وَجَدَكَ؟

My God, what has one found who has lost You? And what has one lost who has found You?

In the spirit of these words, let’s sacrifice what we can to find Allah more and more, in the blessed months of Sha’ban and Ramadhan.

Led by: Br. Hasan Raza, Illustrative Artist and Graphic Designer

🔻 About the club: In these sessions, students will learn how to draw, paint, and design posters using digital tools. The focus will be on developing practical skills alongside an introduction to core graphic design concepts and design principles.

👧🧑 Who can attend: All secondary students are welcome.

💻 Access: Students should log in via the Jaffaria Academy Platform.

🎨 Art Club

Led by: Br. Hasan Raza, Art Teacher

📅 Tuesdays: 20.01.2026 – 10.02.2026
⏰ 3:30pm – 4:30pm (UK Time)

🔻 About the club: In these sessions, students will learn how to draw creative ideas from their imagination, developing confidence in artistic expression through guided practice and exploration.

👧🧒 Who can attend: All primary students are welcome. No need to sign up, just come along.

💻 Access: Students should log in via the Jaffaria Academy Platform.

When Imam Musa Al-Kazim (a) was imprisoned, he raised his hands in supplication and said:

اللَّهم إنك تعلمُ أني كنتُ أسألك أن تُفرِّغَني لعبادتك، اللَّهُم وقد فعلتَ، فَلَكَ الحمدُ

Oh Allah! You indeed know that I have always sought that You give me respite to engage in worshipping you. Oh Allah! You have indeed done so, so praise be unto You!



From this dua of the 7th Imam as he begins his long imprisonment in the dungeons of the rulers, we learn 2 major points:

(1) The importance of worshipping and desiring to worship.

(2) Always being patient in adversity, and finding the positive in every difficulty, and thanking Allah for it.

قال أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام: استنزلوا الرزق بالصدقة

Amir al-Mumineen (a.s.) said: “Seek your sustenance by giving in charity.” In this saying of Amir al-Mumineen (a.s.), he highlights the importance of giving in charity, and that it is the means of receiving further rizq from Allah (s.w.t.). Let us, in the month of Rajab, Sha’ban and especially in the Holy Month of Ramadhan, try to give as much as possible, trusting in Allah (s.w.t.) that He will take care of us. Let’s make a promise to ourselves on the day that the Holy Imam (a.s.) was born in the sacred Ka’bah, that we will show such generosity that he will be proud of us!
