The Centre for Marian Studies is delighted to announce the on-line publication of the new series of Maria: A Journal of Marian Studies. Maria is a peer reviewed journal with academic level content. Sarah Jane Boss, Thomas O’Loughlin, and Sr Theresa Marie Chau Nguyen have contributed excellent articles; there are also translations of important medieval writings, and book reviews. The first issue is available from the link below.

We are very much looking forward to our online conference, which will take place next week from 8th – 10th July 2021, and we are delighted that so many people are interested in joining us. If you have already signed up for the conference, you should have received an email with an attachment containing the abstracts for the presentations. We are very sad to learn that our dear friend Fr Kevin Alban died on 4th May 2021. He was a beloved colleague and Fellow of the Centre for Marian Studies, and we will miss his kindness, wisdom and sense of humour. May he rest in peace.
