Champions of Sutton! 🏉

We couldn’t be more proud of our rugby team this year and none more than their coach Miss Watkins:

“What a fantastic season the Barrow Hedges Rugby team have had! They have been crowned the winners of the Sutton and Epsom RFC School Rugby Trophy League after an unbeaten season.
It has been an absolute pleasure coaching them this season and as a team they have taught me a lot about tag rugby (as I started with very little knowledge of the sport!). Their drive, discipline and determination has been outstanding and they have embodied our Core Values within every match they have played.
However, their season isn’t quite over as they will be representing the borough at the London Youth Games in June. The children are very much looking forward to one last opportunity to play together as a team before they leave us at the end of the year and I couldn’t be prouder of the team they have become this year.“
