Today was one of those days that fills your heart without even realising it at the time 💚
A beautiful morning at Ewell Court Park feeding the ducks, exploring nature, running freely, climbing trees and simply soaking up the magic of childhood.
We discovered what looked like a giant beanstalk and instantly the little ones began talking about Jack and the Beanstalk 🫘✨ I felt so proud hearing them remember our beanstalk topic week and bringing the story to life through their own imaginations.
We spotted a water rat, listened to the very loud ducks, and had the sweetest conversation about one duck apparently having a snail in his mouth… which turned out to be his tongue 🐌😂 The observations children make never fail to amaze me.
Watching this video back has made me unexpectedly emotional. Maybe it’s seeing how safe, happy and free they feel. Maybe it’s the way they hold onto the little things we teach them. Or maybe it’s simply the privilege of being part of their childhood memories.
These are the days I’ll always treasure 🤎

Sunday reset ✨
The truth is, a childminder’s work is never really done. This weekend has been spent getting organised for our next few topics, continuing on with oceans 🐠🐡, incorporating baby role play, creating lots of sensory bases, navigating life with my own children… and now I’m finally off to bed 😴
Tired but grateful for this little business and all the magic it brings 💛
