Happy Ramadan Mubarak to all who celebrate!

Join us for our Inaugaural Lecture featuring Professor Hong II Yoo and Professor Aidan McGarry.
Professor Yoo’s expertise is in the statistical tools that measure individual preferences by combining economic theory with data from behavioural experiments. His lecture will provide an overview of his economic approach, its wide-ranging applications, and how it has led to recent research collaborations with knee surgeons in Denmark and scientific researchers based in a US healthcare company.
Professor McGarry will be drawing on research with marginalised groups including Roma communities in eastern Europe and q***r people in India. He argues that one of the key roles of protest movements is the articulation of voice, for people to speak up and speak out, to realise their agency and to challenge the status quo.
