In partnership with the The Jewish Leadership Council, we held an important roundtable with a Government Minister on the proposed SEND reforms and the specific issues facing Jewish schools.
Behind every policy discussion are children, families and school staff navigating the realities of SEND provision every day. It is vital that their experiences are heard and understood by those shaping future reforms.
This was an important opportunity to ensure the voices of our schools help inform future SEND policy and provision, and to highlight both the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Every child deserves the support they need to thrive, and we are committed to ensuring our schools are part of that conversation.

Behind our strong organisation and successful schools, is a group of dedicated volunteers giving their time, expertise and energy to improve and strengthen Jewish education.
This , we would like to thank our trustees and our governors for their commitment, wisdom and support. Their leadership and guidance play an essential role in helping schools and PaJeS thrive, often behind the scenes and without recognition.
Your contribution makes a real difference to us and our community, and we are enormously grateful for all that you do.
THANK YOU!

We know that strong schools need strong governance but governing today comes with increasing responsibility, complexity and challenge.
It was fantastic to bring governors together from across the community for an evening of learning, discussion and collaboration focused on what good governance really looks like in practice.
Drawing on her experience as a headteacher, governor and governing body clerk, Kate Baum, former Head of Mosaic Jewish Primary , shared valuable insights into effective leadership and best practice within governing bodies.
Participants then joined a range of expert-led workshops tailored to different areas of responsibility including safeguarding, SEND, Jewish Studies, finance, admissions and chairing governing bodies.
A hugely valuable opportunity to gain practical tools and to connect with others navigating similar challenges and responsibilities within their schools.

An incredible occasion to be part of!

Today our CEO, Rabbi David Meyer OBE, had the pleasure of visiting Gesher School which he described as a truly inspiring setting.
The headteacher gave a wonderful tour of the school, sharing insights into the incredible work being done there and the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead including the implications of the forthcoming SEND review.
It was a genuinely thoughtful and wide-ranging conversation, and a reminder of the dedication and expertise that drives outstanding SEND provision.
Sincere thanks to the headteacher and all the staff at Gesher for such a warm and generous welcome. Visits like this are always a privilege.

Facilitated by PaJeS, EcoJudaism delivered a fun and engaging training session for Northern Primary schools - KD Manchester, KD Liverpool and Broughton Jewish - introducing teachers to the Jewish Environmental Education Project.
Participants explored a variety of hands-on activities included in the programme and discussed how to implement a Jewish Climate Action Plan within their schools.
Each school received a teaching pack and supporting resources to help deliver the units effectively.
