PaJeS Wellbeing is hosting a free online webinar for parents/carers about benefits, financial support and managing household income.

Hosted by PaJeS with Ben Dean from The Paperweight Trust.

It’s practical, jargon-free and you can simply listen without sharing anything about your circumstances. Questions can also be submitted anonymously.

The Lira Winston Fellowship's second cohort came together at The Grove for an inspiring opening residential, launching their 18 month Fellowship journey.

The seminar provided dedicated time away from the pressures of school life to reflect on leadership identity and purpose, deepen self-awareness, and build the trusting relationships that will sustain the cohort throughout the Fellowship.

The response from Fellows was outstanding. Participants described the residential as "a really special two days", "the perfect start to a wonderful journey" and "meaningful, empowering and thought-provoking."

The weekend exceeded expectations and provided a powerful start to what promises to be another exceptional Fellowship.

What a celebration of Ivrit learning! ✡️

We had a fantastic day welcoming pupils and teachers from across our Jewish primary schools for the 10th anniversary of the PaJeS Ivrit Spelling Bee in partnership with UnitEd Jewish Education .

Director of Education Sharon Deutsch Radley and Primary Ivrit Advisor Dalia Wittenberg have created this wonderful event over the past decade and it has become a much-loved opportunity for pupils to showcase their Ivrit skills, build their confidence and celebrate their achievements alongside their peers.

A huge Mazal Tov to all of this year's finalists, who demonstrated impressive knowledge, determination and enthusiasm throughout the competition.

Thank you to the teachers, schools and families whose support and encouragement make events like this possible, and to everyone who has contributed to the success of the Spelling Bee over the past ten years.

Having the competition just a day after National allowed pupils the opportunity to write and post messages on a board to say thank you to their teachers. This was a lovely way for them to show their appreciation for the teachers that work so hard to get the children competition ready!

The messages were a lovely reminder of the important role teachers play in encouraging and supporting their pupils, and a fitting way to recognise the dedication that goes into helping children prepare for the competition.

Schools that participated this year are Alma, Clore Tikva, Etz Chaim, King David, Manchester, Sacks Morasha, Naima JPS and Yavneh College.

The winner from the Ivrit speaking category was from Alma and from the non-Ivrit speaking category the winner from year 5 was from Clore Tikvah and the year 6 winner was from King David.

MAZAL TOV!!

Supporting behaviour starts with understanding behaviour.

Today, staff from 11 schools completed Team Teach training, strengthening their skills in positive behaviour support, de-escalation, safeguarding and relationship-based approaches.

By investing in training like this, schools are helping to create calmer, safer and more inclusive environments where every child can feel supported and succeed.

The training complements the Trauma Informed Approach and forms part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the wellbeing of pupils and staff alike.

Yesterday, we hosted the final Administrators Network meeting of the academic year.

Our administrators are at the heart of our schools, and these meetings provide a valuable opportunity to share experiences and discuss challenges.

Topics included CST trauma training, first aid training, staff wellbeing initiatives and, of course, the ever-popular subject of Arbor!

We also said thank you and farewell. We wish Michelle Kleinman from Beit Shvidler a long and happy retirement, and thank Jodi Rickless from Alma Primary for her leadership of the Network.

As Jodi steps down, we are delighted to welcome Bibi Chaudhuri from Mathilda Marks-Kennedy, as the new Administrators Network lead.

Our next meeting will take place on 13 October, and administrators from all subscribed schools are warmly invited to join us.

10 years, hundreds of pupils and countless words spelled.

This week, we are very excited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the PaJeS Ivrit Spelling Bee. 🐝

📅 Over the past decade, the competition has become a much-loved fixture in the Jewish schools calendar, showcasing pupils' Ivrit skills while raising confidence, achievements and a love of language.

We look forward to welcoming this year's finalists and celebrating not only their hard work and dedication, but also ten years of inspiring Ivrit learning across our schools. 👏🏻
