Bespoke Be Heard is the core of Clarendon Cycle Scheme and the social enterprise that won Richmond's Den 2013. Students, whilst getting their qualification, service and maintain their school bikes, staff and customer bikes and restore second hand bikes for sale (see Clarendon Cycle Scheme Facebook profile).

This is Eric; He has been volunteering now for a year and a bit and has been so helpful to the scheme. He has refurbished the majority of our second hand bicycles. He's helped with service's and repairs for staff and customer bicycles, too. He is more than halfway through his Level 2 Certificate in Cycle Mechanics; when he has finished he is looking for a job- and I highly recommend him! 👌

A very unsual bike: It is apparently 1 of 2 made. It folds, but not particularly easily. It flexes a fair bit when ridden, and the seat tube doesn't seem to lock fully in place- a bit unnerving. Maybe a collector who would put in a showroom rather than ride about on it much. Happy for people to test ride and/or experience folding it. If there is interest, we'll probably put it on ebay for sale.

Before putting mudguards on we've put clear frame protection stickers where the mudguard rubs on the side and electrical tape on the top where it is hidden by the guard. Additionally, the metal bridge on SKS- we've put electrical tape on. Otherwise friction will wear into the paint and potentially the carbon (on full carbon forks that is not a good idea). Second pic: clear frame stickers near the chain stay bridge: don't want guards rubbing the paint away and going into the steel.

Now it's really complete- full length mudguards added. #
