Wondering what your first week could look like?

For students joining our Degree Alternative in Event Management this September, the first week is designed to help you feel settled, confident and ready to begin.

You’ll start with registration and orientation, including your student ID, learning systems, timetable, opportunities boards, part-time work and volunteering guidance, policies, Q&A and a training room tour.

Then your week moves straight into real learning: your first core subject class, event venue site tours in Central London, and your first specialist elective class.

It is a practical, structured start to a one-year London route into event management.

With our one year Degree Alternative in Event Management in London, you can develop a broad foundation in professional event management while choosing electives that reflect where you want your career to go.

Choose Sports Events as one of your three specialist electives and explore the planning, operations and delivery behind sporting events, while continuing to build wider skills across event management.

Alongside your studies, you’ll take part in live event planning and delivery, industry visits and showcases, career mentoring and a four week internship.
