Four months of intensive training and dedication have paid off!

It’s a fitness fact that learning a deadlift is hard. You need to understand this complex movement pattern and also have enough mobility to do it.
That’s why we added this specialty bar to our studio’s arsenal. It’s called the trap bar or the hex bar.
It is a very effective teaching tool for the new lifters and a much safer lifting option for those with injuries.
Its design enables you to be more upright, to place your hands in a more neutral position and to utilise the power of your legs. No-brainer!

Andrei turned up one year and a half ago weighing 66kg (first photo). Through a few diet adjustments and consistent strength training, he reached his 75kg goal (second photo).
Andrei is a living proof that consistency is arguably the most important component when working to accomplish goals.
Without consistency, training programmes are unorganised, the body has a harder time adapting, and forming habits may be more challenging.

“A family that exercises together, stays together”. When the family is able to create and foster a positive relationship with exercise and physical activity, the entire family benefits, both physically and mentally. As we provide our family members with opportunities to be active and try new activities, encourage and guide one another in learning new exercise skills, work together, and yes, have fun, we will grow together in confidence and self-worth. Your children will feel emotionally connected and a strhuuonger bond can be created between family members. And hopefully the teamwork that is present during exercise will transfer into the home as well.

The floor press is a variation of the horizontal push pattern. It is an excellent exercise for beginner lifters to substitute the gym-goers beloved bench press.
Because it is performed while lying on the floor instead of using a flat bench, it decreases the exercise’s range of motion and therefore the risk of injury.
It is also a great choice for those with shoulder and elbow issues, who still want to work on stronger upper body and arms.
Julianne joined us a year ago to rehab her recurring shoulder injury and regain confidence for the demanding flow yoga classes.

This calisthenics rig was my training ground on few occasions during my summer holiday. It is a free, feasible and effective training solution to improve posture, strength and body composition. Not to mention the mental health benefits of being outdoor. Shouldn’t every neighbourhood have one?!

Harriet and Steve, who are married, partnered-up nine years ago for their three times a week workouts.

There is an abundance of published research showing that footwear is a contributing factor to musculoskeletal ailments of not only the foot but the whole body.
It's because footwear characteristics can instantly impact the position of your bones or the angle of your joints.
Foot health affects whole-body health.
And the easiest foot-health programme is to change your footwear.
I bought my first pair of minimalist trainers about 10 years ago and I never looked back.
Today I wear absolutely nothing but minimalist or no shoes and my entire body is stronger, more stable, and functioning better than it ever has in my life.
