China has announced plans to introduce a new visa category, the "young talent" K visa, aimed at attracting global science and technology specialists to support its goal of becoming a technological powerhouse. This initiative, part of changes to foreign entry regulations by the State Council and signed into law by Premier Li Qiang, signifies a significant update to China's visa system after several years. Eligible candidates can apply for this visa starting from 1 October.
