This inspiring ceremony celebrated the achievements of nine outstanding students from New City College, showcasing their hard work and dedication.
Organised by Tower Hamlets Council, the event honoured students' incredible successes while recognising the vital support of educators and families. Held at the iconic Troxy in Commercial Road, the evening brought together over 600 attendees from the community and was hosted by renowned BBC News presenter Samantha Simmonds and ITV News journalist Mahathir Pasha.

📍 Today, we’re at Tower Hamlets Town Hall for the Mayor’s Partnership Congress!
The event focuses on the 2035 strategic vision for Tower Hamlets, building on the Partnership Plan 2023-2028: A Tower Hamlets for All. This ambitious vision is all about leveraging strengths, addressing challenges, and shaping a borough that thrives with equity and sustainability.
With the amazing support of our student ambassadors from our Attlee A Level Academy, we’ve hosted a stand during the networking lunch and breaks. It’s been a fantastic opportunity to showcase the college’s diverse services and connect with partners to foster meaningful collaboration.

Today we remember the service and sacrifice of those who served for our country.
Our Esports students recently hosted Amazon Web Services at our Tower Hamlets campus for an interactive Esports tournament! They programmed racing devices to compete on a track, showcasing their skills and our Level 2 students won the tournament! Awards were presented by our Group Principal and CEO, Gerry McDonald. 🏆
