Today we visited the Yearbook Exploration, lead by Ms Deacon. The Yearbook is a Halcyon tradition which enables students to use their creativity and design skills to showcase the year's best moments.

Last week, we held our IBDP Art Exhibit. This special event, held at Asia House, was the perfect opportunity for our DP artists to share their art with the rest of the community. Please join us and congratulate them for their creativity, discipline and hard work.

Our students continue to participate in UK Space Design Competition. Last weekend Leo and Nima assumed leadership positions as elected Vice presidents of Operations and Business as they continue in the multidisciplinary space-themed competition!

Our Makerspace Exploration, led by Ms Ellis, is a friendly learning environment where students explore how to blend digital and real-world design techniques.

The fact that this space is led by a female teacher and popular among female students is a reminder of how Halcyon strives for equity at all moments.

Halcyon's Art programme allows students to express themselves creatively in a safe and welcoming environment. Our art teachers, Ms Dance and Ms Ahmad, help students understand how feelings, thoughts and art interlace.

To mark , Halcyon welcomed a special guest, author Amanda Epe, who shared insights about her book, A Fly Girl, and conducted writing workshops. Students had the opportunity to learn from Ms. Epe's expertise and enhance their writing skills while having fun dressing up as their favourite book characters.
