The Clivebourne Sixth Form is part of the Mossbourne Federation. It is a Sixth Form where students aim high, excel at their subjects and achieve.

After Integral Maths’ amazing but gruelling 21 day challenge our team and one individual maths student got the correct solutions! The last was particularly tough and took 24 hrs to complete. Well done to our amazing mathematicians! .

Our sixth formers had a fantastic time at the Lord Mayor’s show. We joined forces with Oundle School at the head of the procession in the Grocers’ Company contingent. We were celebrating one of Mossbourne Parkside Academy’s Governors, Charles Bowman, becoming Mayor of London.

Clivebourne’s aspiring medics joined a talk to the Year 12s by Dr Helgi Johannsson, a senior consultant at St Mary’s Hospital and Clinical Director for Theatres, Anaesthesia, Pain and Pre-assessment for Imperial College Healthcare. He spoke to the students about his motivation for becoming a doctor, his experiences including those of the Grenfell Tower disaster and the Westminister Bridge terrorist attack, and answered questions from dealing with death to how he uses his social time.

What a wonderful afternoon we had with The Grange Festival’s director Michael Chance and Mezzo Martha Jones exploring the voices of some of our talented singers.
Impressive performances from our students on our final visit to Morgan Stanley’s Future Directions Mentoring, with one speech on people being, “a product of their environment,” leaving our hosts open mouthed with surprise.
