Olive, Clemmie, Tia and Sharitah bring so much energy, enthusiasm and care into their classes, creating a space where our students can learn, grow, express themselves and have plenty of fun along the way. 🎭✨

A PLACE TO BELONG 🧩💛

At Jigsaw Plumstead, our classes are about so much more than singing, dance and drama. They’re a place for children to develop their skills, build confidence, make new friends and feel completely at home being themselves.

Week two was full of laughter, creativity and lots of brilliant moments across the school, and it’s so lovely to see those friendships starting to grow already. Whether a child loves performing or is just beginning to find their feet, Jigsaw is their space to learn, create and belong. 🎭✨

IT’S SO GOOD TO BE BACK! 🧩💛

What a fantastic start to the new term at Jigsaw Plumstead! After our summer break, the school was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed back our returning students and said hello to lots of new faces too.

We wasted no time getting stuck into Show Term, and the energy in classes was amazing! Our students were ready to sing, dance, act and create, and our brilliant teaching team made sure the first day was full of fun, creativity and plenty of Jigsaw magic. 🎭✨

Such a great first Sunday back, and we already can’t wait to see everything this term brings!

TEACHER TRAINING DAY 🧩💛

Last Saturday, some of our fabulous new teachers headed to the Jigsaw Teacher Training Day for a full day of learning, creating and getting ready for life in the Jigsaw classroom.

From exploring the Jigsaw teaching approach to developing ideas across drama, singing and dance, it was a brilliant opportunity for our new team members to build their confidence, share ideas and prepare for the term ahead. 🎭

At Jigsaw, we want parents to feel confident in the people teaching their children. All of our teachers are required to hold a clear Enhanced DBS check and attend Jigsaw training, helping make sure they’re fully prepared to create the fun, supportive and inspiring environment our students know and love.

We’re so excited to have some brilliant new faces joining our teaching teams and can’t wait for our students to get to know them! ✨

The countdown to our Autumn Term at Jigsaw Plumstead is officially on, and we’re so excited to see our students back in class next Sunday! 🎭

There’s still time to be part of it too. New students can join us for a two-week trial, giving them the chance to sing, dance, act, make new friends and see what Jigsaw is all about before committing to the term.

A brilliant day at the Jigsaw Performing Arts Schools Annual Conference! ✨🧩

On Saturday, Melissa joined franchisees and the Jigsaw Head Office team from across the network for a day of inspiration, learning and looking ahead to the year to come.

This year’s theme was Balance, Build, Thrive. The day explored everything from balanced thinking and business growth to the opportunities of technology and the importance of never losing the human touch. We also heard from some fantastic speakers, shared ideas and, of course, enjoyed catching up with so many familiar faces. 💛

Days like this are such a lovely reminder of the wider Jigsaw community and how much we can learn from one another. It was a really inspiring day and has left us feeling very excited for the year ahead! 🎭✨

There’s something special about Show Term at Jigsaw 🎭✨

Over the coming weeks, our students will be singing, dancing, acting and rehearsing together as they work towards their end-of-term performance for friends and family.

For some children, Show Term is their chance to grow in confidence and discover just how much they’re capable of. For others, it’s the moment they’ve been waiting for all year: the lights, the costumes, the audience and the opportunity to perform.

That’s what makes Show Term so important to us. Whether a child is stepping onto the stage for the very first time or already dreams of a future in performing arts, we want every student to be challenged, encouraged and given their own opportunity to shine. 🌟

Along the way, they’ll learn what it means to rehearse, work as part of an ensemble, develop their performance skills and bring everything together for that final show.

We can’t wait to see what they create this term. 💙

AUTUMN TERM BOOKINGS ARE OPEN AT JIGSAW PLUMSTEAD! 🎭✨

Looking for children’s performing arts classes in Plumstead this autumn? Jigsaw Plumstead offers fun, supportive singing, acting and dance classes for children and young people aged 3–18 every Sunday morning.

And there couldn’t be a more exciting time to join us because our Autumn Term is our SHOW TERM! 🎉 Across the term, our students will develop their performance skills, grow in confidence, make new friends and work together towards an exciting end-of-term show for their friends and family.

At Jigsaw, we believe every child deserves the chance to shine. 💛 We keep our classes small so that every student gets the individual attention, encouragement and support they need to grow in confidence. Whether your child already loves performing or has never stepped into a performing arts class before, Jigsaw is a place to belong.
