We are pleased to share that we have had our Recognised Provider status verified and renewed for another year. We remain passionate about providing a high-quality Forest School experience to the children we work with and over the years we continue to observe the wide-reaching benefits to so many individuals. We are particularly dedicated to providing this experience to children in the urban areas we work in who often have limited exposure to the outdoors and ensuring that Forest School is something for every child to access despite geographical location.
In October 2017, the Forest School Association (FSA) - the UK’s professional body - launched a scheme to recognise Forest School Providers who demonstrate that they are following good Forest School practice. The scheme takes providers through an evidence based assessment process ensuring that their practice meets all the necessary requirements to operate professionally in line with the 6 good practice principles of Forest School.
