Celebration Day was a wonderful opportunity to recognise all that our pupils have achieved throughout the year. From inspiring displays of their work to the warmth of our community, it was a special morning to reflect on their progress, resilience and success. We are incredibly proud of every pupil and all they have accomplished this academic year.

At Dulwich Prep & Senior, we believe powerful role models help shape powerful character. Old Dulwich Prepian, Bart Layton’s assembly and Q&A showed our boys that original thinking, resilience and a willingness to challenge convention can lead to remarkable work. His blend of documentary and drama opened a window into how stories can change how we see ourselves and others. We left inspired, not just to make films, but to lead, question and serve with courage. 🎬

When was the last time you set foot on the school’s campus?

By popular request, the Old Dulwich Prepian (ODP) Summer Social will be held at Dulwich Prep & Senior, Alleyn Park. We’ll be arranging tours of the grounds, giving you the chance to retrace your footsteps, favourite classrooms and break-time hangouts. You’ll spot plenty of familiar corners, and plenty that have changed completely.

As always, there will be welcome drinks and nibbles, and we’re hoping to beat our recent record of 60 ODPs at this gathering. We’ll also be inviting a handful of current and former staff you may remember.

Our pupils’ creativity was on full display last weekend at Dulwich Festival Artists’ Open House! The boys have been working closely with Artichoke Print Workshop artists, experimenting with printing techniques such as monotype, linocut, and woodcut. They also took part in specialist workshops led by Kat Hassan and Jake Garfield, exploring colour, form and expression. The exhibition also features works by Colin Gale, Paul Catherall, Helen Manning Clark and Andrew Carter. 🖌️🌸

We open our doors again this weekend, from 11.00am to 6.00pm. Bring the family and enjoy a full day of art and inspiration in Dulwich. Visit the Dulwich Festival website to plan your route and discover what else is happening nearby.

Last Saturday, we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at our Staff Alumni Reunion, where former colleagues reunited, and friendships felt like family once more. Lively conversations reflected on the many boys we have taught and guided over the years, reminding us of the lasting impact of our shared work. 🙌
