The HSF Moot is the world's leading moot court competition focused on EU competition law. It is hosted each year by King's King's College London - The Dickson P**n School of Law, generously sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills, and has a partnership with Concurrences, who will be providing access to their database to all participants as well as a valuable subscription to the winning team.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the 2024/2025 HSF Competition Law Moot!

Generously sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills and hosted by King's College London - The Dickson P**n School of Law, the 2025 edition promises another exciting opportunity for students across the globe to showcase their advocacy skills in competition law.

We are also delighted to continue our partnership with Concurrences, thanks to which we will be providing participating teams with unlimited access to Concurrences Review & e-Competitions Bulletin during the competition. The winning team will also secure a 1-year Concurrences+ subscription.

📣 DEADLINE EXTENSION 📣 In light of many prospective moot participants being busy with January exams, we have decided to extend the registration deadline to 28 January 2024 to ensure that all interested universities have enough time to assemble their teams and complete the registration formalities (at this link: https://estore.kcl.ac.uk/conferences-and-events/academic-faculties/the-dickson-poon-school-of-law/general-events/herbert-smith-freehills-competition-law-moot-2024).

Registrations for the Herbert Smith Freehills Competition Law Moot 2024 are now open until 11.59 pm (GMT) 20 January 2024! The moot will provide an excellent opportunity for students to practice and improve advocacy skills in front of a judging panel, drawn from international competition law specialists.

We are excited to announce that the 2023/2024 HSF Competition Law Moot, generously sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills LLP, and hosted by King’s College London has now launched! The 2023/2024 timeline and competition rules can be found on the Moot's webpage: https://www.kcl.ac.uk/law/professional-development/mooting.

The moot is open to students across the globe with the Oral Rounds to be held at King’s College London on 14-15 June 2024.

Taking part in the HSF Competition Law Moot will give you great opportunity to test your advocacy skills before, and to obtain feedback from, leading academics, competition law enforcers, private practitioners, and judges.

Participating in the Moot has not only helped many of our alumni to achieve their career goals but also created lifelong friendships.
