🔥 WHAT A WORKSHOP! 🔥

Our Borthwick stars were treated to an incredible Michael Jackson Workshop with none other than the amazing Rohan Pinnock-Hamilton, who starred in the West End production of MJ The Musical! 🎭✨

What an opportunity for our students to learn from someone who has performed these iconic moves on a West End stage! 🤩

They spent the workshop learning some of Michael Jackson’s legendary moves and choreography, working on performance, style, musicality and, of course, that unmistakable MJ energy! 🕺🔥

The room was absolutely BUZZING and our students loved every second! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to Rohan for sharing your talent, experience and knowledge with our students and giving them a workshop they certainly won’t forget.

Opportunities like this are what it’s all about — learning from industry professionals, being inspired and making amazing memories along the way. 🌟

🌟 ESSEX ALL STARS PERFORMING ARTS FESTIVAL – DAY 2 🌟

What an AMAZING second day! 🏆✨

Another day filled with fantastic performances, lots of medals 🥇🥈🥉 and, most importantly, so much fun! ❤️

But today was about so much more than medals and results...

We are BEYOND PROUD of every single one of our students for being chosen to receive the very special TEAM AWARD 🏆❤️

This award was given to the team who truly embodied:

✨ Community Spirit
✨ Family Values
✨ Compassion
✨ Kindness
✨ Love & Support

And we honestly couldn't think of an award that represents Borthwick Performing Arts more. ❤️

Watching our students cheer each other on, celebrate one another's successes, pick each other up and show genuine kindness and support throughout the festival makes us prouder than any medal ever could.

Talent is wonderful... but the people our students are becoming means everything. 🥹❤️

To be recognised for the love, friendship and family spirit within our school is incredibly special.

You didn't just make us proud with your performances this weekend — you made us proud with the way you treated each other. 🌟

🌟🏆 ESSEX ALL STARS PERFORMING ARTS FESTIVAL – DAY ONE! 🏆🌟

What an AMAZING first day for our Borthwick stars! 🖤💛

We are so incredibly proud of every single one of you! Everyone went out there, gave it their all and performed brilliantly. 🌟

But one of the best parts of the day was seeing everyone cheering each other on, supporting their teammates and celebrating one another’s successes. That’s what being part of Borthwick is all about! 🥹❤️

And what a day for results too… lots of medals coming home with Team Borthwick! 🏅🏅🏅👏

A huge well done to all of our performers, and thank you as always to our wonderful teachers and parents for everything you do behind the scenes. 💫

❤️ SPONSORED WALK FOR LOLA ❤️

We Can't Wait To See You All On Tuesday 11th August For Our Sponsored Walk For Lola ⭐️

📍 Meeting: May & Baker Sports & Social Club
⏰ Time: 11am

When you arrive, we’ll collect the sponsor sheets and take everyone’s names, as we have a little something planned for all the children taking part. 🥰

🏁 Finish: Eastbrookend Country Park, where we’ll all finish the walk together. ❤️

☀️ It’s going to be hot, so please bring PLENTY of water, wear comfortable shoes and suitable clothing, and make sure the children stay hydrated. 💧👟

🥪 After the walk, we thought it would be lovely to have a little picnic at the park and let the children have some time to play and have fun together. 🧺🛝☀️ If everyone wanted to bring along some food/snacks and drinks for themselves, that would be great! ❤️

🩷LETS BREAK THE RULES FOR LOLA 🩷

Are you ready to turn things upside down?

For ONE WHOLE WEEK!! The standard routine is out the window! Join the fun and express your wildest creative self.

For every rule broken students have to donate £1 (to be brought into the office in a named envelope )

Rules that can be broken:

⭐️ No nail varnish
⭐️ No sports tops
⭐️ No bright odd socks
⭐️ No temporary tattoos
⭐️ No oversized hair accessories
⭐️ No pyjamas
⭐️ No coloured hairspray
⭐️ No make-up

*Students must still come in something they can move in and appropriate footwear for dancing/acro *

When our Seniors found out they had a new teacher, they thought they were in for a treat... 🤭

Fast forward a few sessions with Miss Ellie and they're now seriously questioning every life decision that led them to dance! 😂💪

The drills are tougher, the conditioning is relentless, and "just one more time" seems to happen... about 20 times! 😅

But behind all the sweat, aching muscles and dramatic sighs, they're growing stronger, sharper and more determined with every class. We couldn't be prouder of the hard work and commitment they're showing.

Keep pushing, Seniors – your hard work will pay off, even if you're not quite thanking Miss Ellie... yet! ❤️🖤

When you leave our Street Group alone for five minutes, this is what happens! 🤣

We absolutely love seeing our students having fun together, making memories, and bringing their amazing personalities to every rehearsal.
