More than 1,200 people in London have taken part in one of the largest acts of mass civil disobedience in British history, to protest the Palestine Action ban.
At 1pm on Saturday, more than 1,000 protesters, many of them elderly, sat down in Parliament Square and wrote “I oppose genocide. I support Palestine action” on cardboard signs.

Over the weekend, Israel murdered the entire Al Jazeera news crew for Gaza City, including beloved journalist Anas al-Sharif, whilst it prepares to invade and ethnically cleanse Gaza City.

Meanwhile, the famine in Gaza continues to worsen with a rising death toll from malnutrition as Israel continues to deliberately starve Gaza. Aid entry remains far below basic requirements at just 0.4% of what is currently required.

We cannot remain silent as horror upon horror unfolds in Gaza, and our government remains an active participant in this genocide. Please spread the word and join us on Wednesday (note new location this week) with signs/banners/pots and pans 🇵🇸

Israel continues to deliberately starve Gaza, with a rising death toll from malnutrition. The safe, coordinated delivery of aid via land routes must be reinstated immediately. Air drops are not humanitarian aid - these small-scale supplies serve only as PR for Israel and its western backers, and do not come even close to meeting the basic requirements of 2 million starved people.

The entire population in Gaza now face a deliberately enforced famine due to the ongoing Israeli blockade on humanitarian aid entering Gaza.

Three months’ supply of food sits just a few miles away at the border, blocked from entering Gaza by the IOF.
