🐝🌼 World Bee Day 🌼🐝

Today we loved buzzing around the room taking part in lots of exciting bee-themed activities! From counting and sorting to creative art and sensory play, the children explored, learned and had so much fun together. 🐝💛

We talked about how important bees are to our community and the world around us — helping flowers grow, pollinating plants and supporting the food we eat every day. 🌸🍯

It was wonderful to see the children so engaged, curious and busy little bees throughout the day! 🐛✨

Hello everyone,

It’s Gemma from Bouncing Bees Ltd, and on behalf of the Tinker family, we just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last 14 years 🐝

It honestly feels crazy to think how far we’ve come. What started as a little idea has grown into such a loving, busy, buzzing nursery family, and we couldn’t have done it without all of our amazing staff, children, and families past and present.

We also want to give the biggest shoutout to our Nursery Manager, Tunguy. No matter what the day throws at him, he always manages to keep the hive happy and buzzing with positivity. He’s one of those people who genuinely brings out the best in everyone around him.

Personally, I’ll always be grateful because I started here at just 16 years old as an apprentice, completely new to the childcare world. With the support, patience, and encouragement from Tunguy and our amazing team, I’ve grown into the role I’m in today so thank you for helping me find my wings 🐝

And for those who may not know… yes, me and Tunguy are actually siblings 😂 I know, I’ve heard it all before😩 Are you sure you’re not adopted?” Trust me, we ask ourselves the same question sometimes! But although we may not look alike, we definitely share the same passion and love for what we do.

I truly believe our little Bumble Bee journey was meant to bee 🐝💛

Bouncing Bees has always been more than just a nursery to us — it’s a family. Seeing the children grow, the friendships built, and the memories made over the years means everything to us.

Thank you all for being part of our journey and helping our hive continue to grow. Here’s to many more years of laughter, learning, and lots more buzzing around 🐝

For 14 amazing years we’ve been growing, learning, supporting, and building together and we truly could not have done it without every single person who has been part of our journey. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all the love, support, memories, and moments over the years 🫶

World Bee Day is all about recognising the importance of bees and the incredible role they play in helping our world grow and thrive 🌼🐝 Just like bees, community, teamwork, and support make such a big difference and that’s exactly what these 14 years have been about for us.

So tomorrow, wear your yellow and come ready to celebrate because we’re going to be buzzing around with activities all day! 💛✨

As we are Turkish Cypriot, our Mother’s Day is celebrated on a completely different day to the United Kingdom’s.

As many of you know, we are a family-run business, and today we would like to wish a very special Happy Mother’s Day to the heart, strength, and brains behind everything we do.

Thank you for all the hard work, love, support, and dedication you give both to our family and our bee family every single day. We honestly couldn’t do it without you.
