🔬🧪 What an exciting day at the Science Museum! 🧪🔬

Our Preschoolers had an amazing trip celebrating all of the wonderful play, exploration, investigation, and discovery they have been enjoying through their recent science-themed learning.

From hands-on exhibits to fascinating demonstrations, the children were full of curiosity, questions, and excitement as they explored the incredible world of science. 🌍✨

We are so proud of our future scientists and explorers, who have been carrying out their own experiments and investigations back at nursery.
This trip was the perfect opportunity to bring their learning to life and inspire even more discovery!

Today we are celebrating the lovely Hayley on her 1 year anniversary at Funky Owls Nursery!

Wholesome, fresh and full of flavour 🌿

Our homemade lamb kebab pittas are served with smashed cucumber, juicy tomato wedges and a cool yogurt & mint dip, the perfect balanced bite for our little food lovers and grown-ups alike.

🌿🍋 A beautiful sensory-filled day 🍋🌿

With the recent change of season, our Chestnut children have been exploring fresh herbs and natural fragrances, filling the room with calming scents and creating such a lovely atmosphere for learning and play.

A morning spent discovering different herbs led to the children making their very own fresh lemonade together! From squeezing lemons to mixing ingredients, every moment was full of curiosity and hands-on learning. Much to our surprise, the lemonade with fresh thyme was a very popular choice with our preschoolers.

Here at Funky Owls Nursery, we love creating meaningful experiences that connect children with nature, inspire their senses, and encourage confidence through exploration.

Today we set up base camp beneath our favourite oak tree in the heart of Wandle, creating a space filled with curiosity, collaboration and imagination.

The children gathered natural treasures, mixed, poured, splashed and explored freely, using the world around them to inspire and enhance their play.

It's Blue Monday 💙✨ Known as the day that’s supposedly the most difficult of the year — when the post-Christmas tiredness, dark winter days and the long stretch to payday can all start to feel a bit heavy. But whatever the label, we believe the best way through is together 💪💙
