KidsArt Children learn art & art appreciation - term time weekly classes and school holiday camps, parties

Children learn techniques for painting, observational drawing, shading, perspective, colour theory, clay, collage and printing, use a wide variety of media, learn history of art, produce wonderful artwork and have lots of fun!

KidsArt Autumn term has just begin at studios across London & Herts, and in selected schools. Still a few spaces available, trial classes offered. At KidsArt children aged 4-16 learn core art techniques, develop creativity and confidence, create beautiful art and learn art history as we go!

KidsArt still a few spaces for Autumn term at studios across London and Herts.

KidsArt teaches core art skills with art history gently woven in to children aged 4-16 in age banded classes, ages 4-8, 9-12 and 11-16.

The younger 2 age bands follow the KidsArt curriculum and the older ages are free to choose what they would like to learn, with access to a wide range of materials.

We have lots of 5* reviews from happy parents, (linked on the website) and this year we were also thrilled to have our students' artwork selected for both the in-gallery and on-line exhibitions at the Royal Academy Young Artists' Exhibition.

KidsArt have been established in London for over 16 years, with classes in our own studios and also in schools as after-school clubs (please enquire if you would like a KidsArt class in your child's school)

🌸 Celebrating the extraordinary life of Yayoi Kusama 🌸

We were so saddened to hear of the passing of Yayoi Kusama, who died aged 97 after an extraordinary life devoted to art.

For more than seven decades, Kusama pushed boundaries, challenged conventions and showed the world just how powerful, playful and joyful art can be. From her iconic polka dots and pumpkins to her mesmerising Infinity Rooms, she created a visual language that continues to inspire generations of artists — including the young artists in our classes. ✨

We love introducing children to Kusama because her work gives them permission to experiment, be bold, make a mess, repeat, play with colour and, most importantly, find their own ideas.

These are some of our own Kusama-inspired creations — full of dots, colour, pattern and imagination. 🎨🔴🟡

What a wonderful legacy to leave behind: a reminder that there are no limits to where your imagination can take you.

Summer holiday camps! We learnt about British artist Damien Hirst and his insect artworks, we learnt about dragonflies - beautiful insects which have been around since before dinosaurs! We learnt how to compose an artwork and how to blend, and created our own Hirst-inspired dragonflies! We still have space for half day art camps 24-28 Aug in Brixton, Finchley and Muswell Hill,
