Today was a big day for L & R as they finally joined us for their very first full day! It’s a huge change to their usual routine, being in a new environment and spending the day with new faces, but they did so well! I’m sure it won’t be long before they’re completely settled in and feeling at home.

We enjoyed a lovely walk around Connaught Waters, where we fed the ducks…..and seagulls 😂 The older children had a fantastic time exploring and playing in the forest with their friends.

Welcome back !

Easing ourselves gently back into routine after my holiday. A day of play, alphabet/phonic matching crocodiles for D before he starts school in a couple of weeks and lots of fun playing together.

Whilst I was away M’s parents started toilet training. Being in a childcare setting is very different from home with lots of distractions so we also took the time to establish it here, well done M you did brilliantly today 🙌🏻

This week has been a little different from our normal routine after my cat, Jet, suddenly became very unwell and had to be rushed to the vets.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to my wonderful families for your kindness, patience and understanding this week, it has meant so much to me.

A very special thank you also goes to D & M. They could see I was upset and both were so caring, offering me lots of cuddles. Their kindness, empathy and compassion truly melted my heart and reminded me just how amazing young children are. Moments like these show that nurturing children’s emotional development is just as important as supporting their learning, and I couldn’t be prouder of the caring little people they are becoming.
