During a survey in October 2025, Vicky Rusby found an Acer pseudoplatanus with a low-level, butt-rot feature containing a sleepy Plecotus auritus.
Bat Tree Habitat Key (BTHK) is a free web-hosted document which can be downloaded from http://battreehabitatkey.co.uk/.

August 2025 - Katie Smith found a new roost, a wound feature on a Fagus sylvatica. 10+ fresh droppings were found in the PRF, though no bats were present. DNA analysis confirms that the droppings were Myotis daubentonii.
