The answer to yesterday's quiz was (c) on and stick. Did you get it right? If you 'go on a diet' it means you start dieting. If you 'stick to' doing something it means you continue to do it for a period of time. You can find out more here: https://bit.ly/LETAdvancedVocabulary

The answer to this quiz was (b) which. Did you get it right?

My essay on Shakespeare, _____ I found really difficult, got a good mark in the end!
a) that
b) which ✅
c) that or which

This is a non-defining relative clause - a clause that gives extra information that isn’t absolutely necessary. Here, for example, the sentence 'My essay on Shakespeare got a good mark' tells you everything you need to know. The fact that I found it difficult is extra, non-essential information. We use commas to separate non-defining relative clauses from the rest of the sentence. Click here to find out more and practise: https://bit.ly/LETRelativeClauses
