Your mind can feel like a storage unit.
Some shelves are neat. Some cabinets are manageable. But then there is that one drawer you avoid opening because it feels too chaotic to face.
The truth is, there are things in life we cannot control, but there are still things we can take charge of. Sometimes peace begins when we stop ignoring the mess and start sorting through it, one thought, one feeling, one step at a time.
What does the inside of your mind look like right now?

I wasn't raised that way -
is not an excuse
We were poor growing up.. is not an excuse to remain poor.
There is always a better way
I've always be an advocate of preventative measures than being reactive especially when it comes to mental wellbeing.
Let's find better ways to support our young people, especially their mental health.
Burnout doesn't start with collapse!
It creeps in 🤫
You say - I'll rest after this deadline,
It's just a busy season
Why am I struggling? There is still a lot to do

Small moments of connection can significantly enhance overall well-being in several ways ...
1. Brief interactions can provide reassurance and validation, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
2. Positive connections can lower stress levels and promote relaxation, leading to improved mental health.
3. Simple exchanges, like a smile or a compliment, can elevate mood and foster a sense of belonging.
4. Regular check-ins can deepen relationships, creating a support network that contributes to resilience.
5. Small connections can inspire individuals to pursue goals and maintain a positive outlook.
Incorporating these moments into your daily life can create a ripple effect that positively impacts mental, emotional, and social well-being.

I have the unique privilege of speaking and kicking off the monthly webinar for the Nigerian Association of Pastoral Counsellors (NAPCOUN) this afternoon.
I am grateful that the church is embracing a holistic approach to mental health. It will go a long way in tackling stigma, integrating culture and making intervention accessible.
I am looking forward to joining my esteemed host Professor Odeleye and other professionals and clergymen and women this afternoon.

The biggest lie we believe about change?
That it has to be dramatic.
That we need a complete life overhaul, a radical transformation, a before-and-after that shocks everyone.
But in close to years of working with people, here's what I've actually seen work:
🌱Baby steps.
🪄Not grand gestures. Tiny, consistent movements.
🛠️Not motivation (which fades). Habits (which compound).
🫷🏼Not waiting until you feel ready. Starting before you do.
If you can see it, you can have it. But you don't get there in one leap.
🚶🏼♂️You get there one baby step at a time.
What's one small step you could take THIS WEEK toward something you want?
Check your internal script.
What lies have you been telling yourself?
Did you know learning a new skill can ?

As 2025 draws to a close, many are holding both grief and gratitude in the same breath.
Maybe this year stretched you beyond what you thought you could handle—and yet, here you are.
Whether your heart is healing or celebrating, take a moment to honour your story and thank God. Healing doesn’t erase the pain; it teaches us how to hold it with gentleness and hope. 💛
You’ve made it through 100% of your hardest moments, take that in!
Can I get an amen!

It is easy to rush through the end of a month without pausing to notice what actually held you together.
The small kindness someone showed you.
The conversation that lifted your shoulders a little.
The moment you surprised yourself with strength you didn’t plan for.
Gratitude is not about pretending everything was perfect.
It is about recognising the steady things that carried you through the imperfect moments.
As November wraps up, think about the one thing that made this month a little lighter, a little softer, or a little more possible.
It could be a person.
A habit you stayed consistent with.
A boundary you kept.
Or even the courage to start again.
What one thing are you grateful for as this month comes to an end?
