Results day represents so much more than the grades on a piece of paper — it reflects the hard work, determination, resilience and progress our students have shown throughout their time at Riverston School.

🎶🌈 **INCLUSIVITY FESTIVAL 2026 – ALL ARE WELCOME!** 🌈🎶

We wanted to share another wonderful summer event with our **Riverston School students and families**! 💙

The **Inclusivity Festival 2026** is set to be a fantastic day celebrating **togetherness, acceptance, community and inclusion**, with plenty of **live music, friendship and fun** for everyone to enjoy! 🎤🎸

📅 **Sunday 16th August 2026**
⏰ **Doors open 11:30am – 9pm**
🎶 **Live bands from 12pm – 8pm**
📍 **Beckenham Rugby Football Club, The Clubhouse, Balmoral Avenue, Beckenham, BR3 3RD**

🎟️ **Ticket prices:** Pre-booked £15 | On the door £20 | Concessions £10 | Essential carers **FREE** | Under 18s £5

There will also be a variety of **hot and cold food available to purchase**, and families are welcome to bring their own picnics. 🧺🍴

This is a **non-profit event**, with donations welcomed, and is all about bringing people together for a day of celebration and community. ❤️

🌳☀️ **END OF YEAR FORM TRIPS!** ☀️🌳

Our end-of-year form trips were thoroughly enjoyed by all and were a brilliant way for our students and staff to spend some quality time together before the summer holidays! 💚

One of our form groups enjoyed a fantastic trip to **Greenwich Park**, making the most of the beautiful sunshine, exploring the surroundings and enjoying some well-deserved time away from the classroom. 🌿☀️

These trips are such a lovely opportunity for our form groups to relax, have fun and celebrate everything they have achieved together throughout the academic year.

It certainly looks like a great day was had by all! 😊

🌴🐍 **I’M A TEACHER… GET ME OUT OF HERE! PART 2: RETURN TO THE JUNGLE!** 🐍🌴

We couldn’t forget to share some photos from our **Annual Riverston Summer Fair 2026!** ☀️🎉

This year, we returned to the jungle for **‘I’m a Teacher… Get Me Out of Here! Part 2: Return to the Jungle’** – and what a fantastic day it was! 🌿🦁

There was so much for everyone to enjoy, from **inflatable assault courses** and a brilliant selection of **handmade games stalls created by our students**, to plenty of **food and drink stalls** throughout the day. 🎯🏃‍♂️🍔🥤

We were also delighted to welcome back the **wonderful animals from last year**, which once again proved to be a huge hit with our school community! 🐾💚

A huge amount of work went into making the fair possible, and it was fantastic to see our students getting involved, showcasing their creativity and enjoying the celebrations together.

We wanted to share another fantastic summer opportunity with our **Riverston School families**! 💙

The **Lewisham SEND Inclusive Sports Summer Activity** is offering a range of **FREE and accessible activities** for disabled children and young people aged **5–25**, alongside their families. The sessions are designed to be accessible for **all abilities**.

📅 **Multiple dates throughout July & August 2026**
📍 **Alex Yee Ladywell Arena, Silvermere Road, London, SE6 4QX**

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 **Families welcome**

We are delighted to share the exciting news that **Riverston School has officially been recognised as a Thrive School!** 🎉

This accreditation celebrates our ongoing commitment to embedding the **Thrive Approach** throughout our school and supporting the **social and emotional development** of every child and young person in our care.

At Riverston School, we know that when students feel safe, understood and emotionally supported, they are better able to learn, grow and achieve their full potential. Becoming a Thrive School reflects the work our dedicated staff do every day to build positive relationships, nurture wellbeing and create an environment where every student can thrive.

💙 **ADULT AUTISM SOCIAL GROUP – DIAGNOSIS NOT REQUIRED!** 💙

We wanted to share this welcoming community opportunity with our **Riverston School families and wider community**.

Hosted by **Bromley’s All-age Autism Partnership**, this **Adult Autism Social Group** is for adults who may have received a later diagnosis, are exploring the possibility of being autistic, or feel they may have been masking.

🌿 **A formal diagnosis is not required.**

The group offers a **quiet and welcoming space** to meet others with similar experiences and explore what autism means for you as an adult.

📅 **Tuesday 4th August 2026**
⏰ **8pm–10pm**
📍 **The Club Room at The Partridge Pub, 194 High Street, Bromley, BR1 1HE**

There is **no need to book – simply turn up on the evening**.
