Here is the newly finished pastoral room at White Court Primary School. It's called the Starlight Room. The team at White Court are passionate about creating a space where children can play and speak bravely. The adults find space to breathe, meet and reflect. A very special place indeed.

Recovery is possible!
That's what we practise at Dragonfly...... Recovery focused support. 😀

Trauma can make people spikey. Sometimes the survivor can feel feel of painful spikes where people have caused hurt or not helped them process experiences that were terrifying. Trauma recovery does not happen naturally because trauma needs to be released from the body, nervous system, mind, emotions and the complex coping mechanisms that have enabled them to carry on keeping in day by day. Trauma recovery is possible and the road is full of hope, pain, courage and acceptance.

As another week starts, make sure you are looking after yourself. This will look different for each person. Self care is vital!
