Academy Organists perform one of the 20th century’s most transcendent works for organ. Olivier Messiaen’s luminous 1935 cycle La Nativité du Seigneur is an extraordinary set of nine meditations unfolds from the quiet tenderness of La Vierge et l’Enfant to the triumphant brilliance of Dieu parmi nous, offering a journey of colour, stillness, and overwhelming sonic intensity.
