Welcome to , September intake! 👋🎓

Before classes begin, our new IYZ, IY1 and Pre-Master’s students came together for Welcome Day — meeting their new classmates, taking part in icebreakers and getting to know the University of Greenwich campus.

They also learned where to go for learning and wellbeing support and how to use SafeZone to access help on campus when needed.

A busy first day, finished with pizza. 🍕💙

Now, onto the first classes! 📚

She was determined to study in the UK. She found Dundee, applied, got a scholarship, and in Wen’s words: “No regrets.” 🎓

But ask her what she’ll remember most and it’s the people: friends, housemates and even people she met through part-time work.

Her tip for anyone coming to study in the UK? 

Don’t wait for people to come to you. Say hello first. Go to the activities. Talk to the person next to you.

They might just become a friend for life. 💙
