Today, 22 June, we celebrate what would have been Dame Cicely Saunders' 108th birthday.

Dame Cicely founded St Christopher's Hospice in 1967, and her vision continues to shape how we, and others, care for people and their families.

“You matter because you are you, and you matter to the end of your life."

Today, we'd love to hear from you. How are you continuing to incorporate Dame Cicely's values into your work?

Today marks Day! A moment to highlight the incredible teams across the globe who help make health and social care research happen and today, many are proudly wearing red to show their support.

At St Christopher's, the work our Research team do is vital in understanding the needs of those receiving palliative and end of life care, and their loved ones.

This week, our Research colleagues were out and about at our hospice sites, wearing red and holding conversations, answering questions, and sharing more about the important work they do.
