Year 6 pupils are all up and ready to go after their overnight adventure in the yurts.

Year 6 pupils are having an amazing time at their overnight residential learning about what life was like for evacuees escaping The Blitz.

Five, six, seven, eight! Pupils in Years 7 and 9 threw themselves into their line dancing lessons this afternoon as part of Unity Week. Mrs Neale joined in the fun, too!

Our penultimate day of Unity Week included the Prep pupils learning about the cultural significance of African masks and having a go at making their own.

Year 11 and Sixth Form pupils had a fabulous Bollywood dance class today. Thank you to Alexia and Saaj from The Bollywood Company for a fantastic morning!

Year 8 and Year 10 loved their Unity Week flamenco sessions today. ¡Olé! Gracias for providing the inspiración.

Our Prep pupils started Unity Week with a fabulous chasse au trésor today! Did they find the treasure?

We have kicked off Unity Week with a thought-provoking presentation this morning by Dr Charlie Easmon on 'The History of Prejudice'. Dr Easmon explored example of prejudice encountered today and encouraged pupils to expand their knowledge of this important subject.

Our Politics and Sociology pupils have visited Westminster and the Royal Courts of Justice today to learn about the law, becoming a barrister, and how young people can become more involved in politics. Thanks to our local MP Munira Wilson - Liberal Democrat Member of Parliament for Twickenham and to barrister Colm Nugent for their time today.

We look forward to welcoming parents to the first of our new drop-in tea and chat sessions with the Senior Management Team, SMTea, today at 3.15pm. No need to book. Check the school calendar for other upcoming SMTea sessions.

Sophie and Eva (year 5) competed in the ISA Athletics National Event. Sophie finished 6th in the 75m sprint and won GOLD in the long jump and Eva won a silver medal in the 150m after a nail-biting photo finish. What a huge achievement!!!

Good news! One of our resident ducks became injured this week. Thanks to London Wildlife Aid, she is safe and sound and has become a foster mum to lots of cute ducklings. Wildlife Aid

Year 5 had an excellent afternoon getting a "taster" of what it will be like to be in the Senior School. They had a lesson in the Science labs and got to try out using the sewing machines in the Textiles room. The afternoon ended with cookies and juice and the chance to ask all the questions they have about life as a St Catherine's Senior pupil.

Today is National Numeracy Day. As Creatives are joining us for a workshop as we race through space using our mathematical skills. We have been taking part in challenges and problem solving to work out the best candidate to race to space!

Today is the penultimate day of our residential week and Year 5 have certainly made the most of it. The morning started with climbing and archery and the girls have had a great time!

Year 5 spent yesterday abseiling, canoeing, learning survival skills and making memories to last a lifetime!

The sun was shining today for our Year 5 pupils at PGL with lots of time on the water and leaps of faith!
