It is an exciting day for our Senior School girls on the Washington DC Trip as they visit the White House! 🇺🇸 This will be an unforgettable experience. We are proud to see our pupils engaging with history, experiencing the present and being inspired for the future.

An amazing Sports Day for 2024 - well done to Bronte for winning the Sports Competition 🏆🤸‍♀️🏆🤾‍♀️🏆..... Many records were broken today too - these will be announced at our final Assembly and the House Cheerleading trophy went to Pankhurst! 🥳💙🥳 💙🥳

St Catherine's Prep put on a wonderful Seussical Jr. production. The cast was delightful and full of extremely talented and hardworking pupils who seemed to be having the time of their life singing and dancing to the show's catchy tunes.

A huge congratulations to our Year 8 girls Nina, Tilly & Annabel who competed in the Triathlon this weekend at the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium.

Last week, our Years 7 and 8 participated on the fist edition of the Little Sister/Big Sister Olympics to celebrate their hard work this year. A fantastic opportunity to develop their teamwork skills and strengthen bonds.

On Monday, our Maths Department hosted a Prep and Senior Pi Day Bake Sale 🥧 @ Break Time as part of our MATHS FEAST. Other fun activities include Competitions, Guest Mathematician Speakers, Maths Challenges and Workshops. 🤩💫👨‍💻

Sports at St Catherine's has such a diverse range, from shotput and javelin to swimming and softball, there is something for everyone to enjoy!

Enhorabuena to Mya in Year 10 who received a commendation from The Queen's College at The University of Oxford for her entry for the Anthea Bell Translation Prize. ¡Olé!

Last week, Year 8, 9 and 10 enjoyed an inspiring visit from author Bali Rai. Bali spoke about his experiences as an author, the importance of reading for pleasure and how reading can help you develop empathy for others. The girls also enjoyed Bali Rai's tips on creative writing to help them at GCSE and beyond!

Yesterday, Year 10 GCSE Food & Nutrition pupils enjoyed a fascinating trip to London's East End. We visited Spitalfields Market, Brick Lane and surrounding areas. The girls were able to sample Sri Lankan street food, Bangladeshi pastries, Ghanaian chocolate, salt beef bagels and vegan doughnuts! They also learnt a great deal about the wider history and culture of the area.

Year 2 and 3 went to Ufton Court yesterday for an Ancient Greek adventure. We learned about bartering, and worked to please the goddess Athena by training for war. Spartan soldiers practised formations and fighting moves using a shield, spear and sword!

Year 7 girls are having the most amazing time away! Raft building and abseiling, fire lighting and bell boating. They have challenged themselves, faced fears, supported each other and been each others’ biggest cheerleaders. We are immensely proud of them.
