A look back at an inspiring day of ideas, questions, and conversations about the future of learning.

At Classroom Futures during Panathēnea 2026, students, educators, and leaders came together to explore how AI is shaping education—and how we can shape it in return.

Thank you to everyone who joined the conversation and helped make student voices part of the discussion.

Graduation season is here — and in Greek, we don’t just say “good luck.” 🎓🇬🇷

We use words that carry hopes for progress, success, and a bright future ahead.

Καλή σταδιοδρομία — for a successful career
Καλή πρόοδο — for steady improvement and moving forward
Καλή τύχη — because a little luck always helps
Όλα δεξιά — for everything to go your right

Use these to sound like a Greek✨

We are honoured to welcome Sofia Zacharaki, Minister of Education, Religious Affairs & Sports of Greece, to Classroom Futures at Panathēnea 2026 🇬🇷

Minister Zacharaki will join a special fireside chat with high school students and educators — discussing the future of education, the role of AI in learning, and the skills both students and teachers need in a rapidly changing world.

From serving as Deputy Minister of Education to leading Greece’s Ministry of Education today, her work has focused on innovation, inclusion, and preparing schools for the future.

🇬🇷 One of the most common Greek sayings is about May… or is it? 👀

“Ζήσε Μάη μου να φας τριφύλλι” is used when something feels far away—or unlikely to ever happen.

But here’s the twist: it might not be about May at all. 😯

Language changes. Stories adapt. And sometimes… what we think we know isn’t the full story. 😉

From “Did you eat?” to “Take a jacket,” Greek moms have a phrase for everything… and somehow, they’re always right. 💙

They’ll worry if you’re cold, if you’re hungry, if you’re tired—even if you just ate and it’s 30 degrees outside. They’ll remind you to be careful, insist you’ve lost weight, and love you in the most beautifully loud, persistent way.

It’s not just what they say—it’s what they mean:
“I care.”
“I’m here.”
“I’ll always look after you.”

A little dramatic, a little overprotective—but always full of love.

Today, we celebrate not just Greek moms, but all moms everywhere—the ones who show their love in a thousand different ways, every single day. ❤️

Χρόνια πολλά σε όλες τις μαμάδες! 🌷
Happy Mother’s Day!
