Has the GAMSAT exam changed over the years?

GradMed are perhaps the only organisation whose tutors have been sitting the exam for nearly 25 years, out of curiosity it was first introduced in 1996. This means the senior team have seen the exam evolve and develop.

The Section which elicits most debate in this regard is Section 3. Whilst there has certainly been a move away from questions requiring more rote learning to those with more abstract conceptual ideas, think Vampire bats running on treadmills, Ducklings swimming behind their mothers and the like, the general underlying theme of problem solving remains the same.

ACER are interested in how you think in the sciences more than simply what you know.
