Meet the Faculty | Konstantinos Kavakiotis
We are delighted to introduce Konstantinos Kavakiotis, a member of the Drama Classes London faculty. Get to know the artists and educators behind our training.
Konstantinos is a Greek-British actor, director and experienced acting teacher based in London. His professional training includes the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, the Moscow Art Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe, and the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Los Angeles.
His extensive career spans theatre, film and television in the UK and internationally. His stage credits include leading roles such as Macbeth with the National Theatre of Northern Greece, Rhett Battler in Gone with the Wind at the Peiraeus Theatre, Herod in Salome by Theatre Lab, while his screen work includes Vikings: Valhalla for Netflix, The Double Life of George Michael as well as productions for Channel 5, Netflix, ITV and major Greek TV Channels.
Alongside his professional acting career, Konstantinos has extensive experience in actor training and education. He is the Founder and Director of Drama Classes London, where he works with actors at different stages of their development, from beginners to advanced performers and professional actors. He also taught for Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where he is a member of the audition panel, BADA in London and the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki -Greece.
His teaching draws on his training and experience across a wide range of acting methodologies, with a particular focus on developing truthful, versatile and confident performers for both stage and screen.
