Firefly F24

A huge well done to our new Lucciola team. They raced for the first time today at the South Downs heat. All their hard work in the new bodywork for the car paid off as they won best bodywork for their PacMan car!

FF05 is starting to look like a car!

Goodwood International Final! We are so proud of the team for all their hard work this year. They spent this week pulling together all of the Engineering they have worked on this season to show the judges. This hard work paid off and the team came away with the Ford International Engineering Award.

In the F24+ kit car championships we finished second overall; so not a bad day!

A huge well done to the team. We now need a rest before the winter build begins.

Wow! What a day. It was definitely the coldest race in a while, but once again they executed their race strategy perfectly, even taking into account a red flag (which meant everyone had to stop on track). This meant the team finished first out of the F24+ kit cars and second out of all the F24+ cars - a fantastic result!

They also enjoyed showing the judge all the new upgrades on the car, which this time focussed around aero improvements. So we were delighted to be awarded the Engineering Award.

We now have a few weeks to prepare the International Final at Goodwood.

Despite the torrential rain, searing heat and unusual proliferation of spiders Firefly Racing had a great day at Dunsfold Park.

We tested weight, tyre pressures and aero, collecting some great data which we will analyse this week

The F24+ race was perfectly executed. The race strategy team made the call to turn down the car early in the race, which meant we could comfortably finish 2 laps ahead of the next car. So we came first in the kit cars and 6th overall - a brilliant result.

We now have a week to prepare for Lotus, the last race of the season before the International Final in October.

The aero testing rig is ready to go ahead of Dunsfold Park this weekend.
